As far as I understand, for non-professionals and for soft corals, the following performed best according to his analyses: Aquaforest Reef Salt Blue Treasure Reef Sea Salt Tropic ine Pro Reef The last one, judging by the price, should be magical... I decided to buy a small container of this Tropic ine Pro Reef salt for testing, as in smaller packaging it has a different name - Tropic in Bio-Actif.

Another decent line of marinekraft.

What makes it better than the ones presented earlier? Is it better in terms of accessibility for you, or does the quality surpass them? You know I'm not a proponent of innovations in chemistry; I'm not wealthy enough to spend a large sum on experiments.

Guys! Is there anyone who uses Blue Treasure salt? Are there any positive reviews? From my side, I can say that I haven't heard any negative feedback from my sailor friends about this salt.

Jill9137

I saw several very beautiful aquarium reefs with Aquaforest salt and additives. But be careful with Tropic Marine Pro Reef - the "Pro" stands for Professional for a reason. It is meant for people who understand what they want to achieve with this salt. I definitely wouldn't recommend it for beginners.

I understand that the experiment highlighted Red Sea Coral Pro as the best salt. From the article A lot of criticism was directed at Reef Crystal. This indicates that everyone is afraid to experiment with other salts; they continue to use Reef Crystal, Tropic Marin, and Chinese salt as they have always done. Well, it makes sense since nothing else was imported before.

I also use natural sea salt, similar to Red Sea, mainly because of the price/quality ratio. However, in my opinion, if you are looking for the best salt regardless of price, synthetic salts should be better.

It may be so, but it all depends on the specialist who prepares it. The same applies to natural salt. An analogy does not mean that it is also good.

Leah

Isn't it Royal Nature?

Bonnie

I had her in mind too. It seems to me that after this salt, many have lost the desire to try something new. I have often heard negative feedback from people who tried this salt; I will say more - I have never heard positive reviews about Royal Nature.

So I was one of the first to present the problem of this salt on the forum)))) I don't remember this salt or I threw it away or gave it to someone. As for its "natural origin," I won't even start talking about it.

Brandy1134

I haven't read your topic, but in personal conversations with sailors who used this salt, I often heard negative feedback.

Rita

I see that there are as many sailors as there are thoughts)) I have been using Royal Nature for a year and a half and I am satisfied. However, in my opinion, the magnesium content is low, so I add it separately. Overall, I like it. I reached out regarding the low magnesium level, and a representative from Royal Nature was ready to consider everything and help, but I didn't take advantage of it; I just added magnesium myself. I found your post and read it. I have completely different impressions. I bought salt in 25 kg bags and in buckets. I have almost used all the salt in the bags; it dissolved perfectly, with no residue at all.

I would like to ask you a question like on car forums - what did you drive before? What salt did you use before, and can you share a photo of your aquarium? Perhaps your aquarium would also be suitable for Tetra from Aquaforest, and you shouldn't overpay...

Joyce

I understand that you mainly have soft corals, with a bit of LPS. A normal mixed reef that isn't overcrowded should be shaken and disturbed a little, and everything will be fine.

Gene1948

My aquarium as of the beginning of the year - The photos are terrible, but that's how we got it. Nothing has changed, except the euphyllia is twice as big and the montipora is also twice as big. I used to use Tetra salt. My subjective opinion is that the salt deteriorated between 2011 and 2013. In 2013, I changed the salt, tried several options, and settled on Royal Nature. I haven't tried AquaForest salt, but I've seen beautiful aquariums online using this salt and additives.

Andrew419

I will repeat the question.

Larry

Earlier (from March 2014 to September 2015), there were 4 aquariums (setup and maintenance) on this salt (SPS variant). The population is quite simple: mainly soft corals plus LPS, with a few hardy SPS (Montipora, Seriatopora, Hydnophora). The quality is quite acceptable if you get a good batch. In fact, the clinical picture is similar to that of Red Sea. Despite being one of the first to implement the new fractional composition, the quality of the acidic base varies significantly from batch to batch.
