Can you put something like this in the samp?

Heather2018

You're hurting my feelings! Where else would I have it installed - of course in SAMP! Seriously though, if it's a normal, separate SAMP without restrictions on diameter and height, then we can even use more powerful models.

Nancy758

There are no restrictions on the width. There don't seem to be any on the height either. The height of the pedestal inside is 90 cm.

Stephen5841

It's fine, it does its job. Just need to get DG or DT, these are a bit better. Like all Chinese products, it requires some improvements, at least a more powerful pump (I'm still using the original) and probably installing a "soul" if it's DT. I understand this is similar to IO SKIMM and some German model. P.S. I have DG-1520 on 140 liters - seems to be handling it.

Aaron6112

I need 600 liters.

Mike

except without fish and corals 600 even 1524 won't handle it, better to go to U or Vitalik for an upgrade of the Jaba-520. P.S. maybe Vitalik will "upgrade the fight" to this volume, I'm not sure about that.

Elizabeth6302

I have a question: where and who has seen Boyu skimmers for 600 liters? It's all nonsense, I haven't seen a single Chinese one for that volume. Better get a modified Jebo from Nox, at least it will work. Or order from A.

Bonnie

Off-topic, here are the Chinese. at 600 and even more

April3499

I meant in person... It would be interesting to see. Especially with two Aguabish pumps...

Danny

Not affordable... I need something budget-friendly. Ideally up to 1000.

John3165

In that case, only a reworked Jebo. There are no alternatives. They won't handle the fight.

Andrew7823

Is the modified version a replacement of the pump with a more powerful one? There is no option at all with it. The Jebo + Atman PH-3500 option is being considered. I just want to evaluate different options.

Steven757

For a 600-liter tank, you need a well-functioning skimmer; only stones, corals, and fish worth a couple of thousand dollars will fit in there, so I believe it's pointless to save on the skimmer. By the way, for my 140-liter tank, I can use a semi-working one, but I wouldn't do that for a 600-liter. It's better not to consider a "ready-made" skimmer; at a minimum, it should be a modified Jaba-520 or higher.

Teresa

Is the pump above more efficient?

David953

Not always, with greater "performance," a skimmer with a low-power pump can be better than one with a powerful pump. The pump itself should also have a normal injector (it draws in more air) and a rotor (for fine bubbles). By the way, a skimmer with an Aquamedic 2500 sometimes works better than one with an Atman 3500 (this is not about the Jebao 520, this is in general).

William1830

They also suggest this option: Atman SK-388, AF-2300. People use it for the same volume, and it seems to handle it well.

Lynn4242

3500 will not provide more than 600 liters of air. Let him correct it if necessary. For such an aquarium, this is not enough. With a limited budget, it's better to make a 200-liter aquarium, but a good one.

John

Has anyone tried to pump air into the injector with a compressor?

Michelle5859

Well, in that case, I'll postpone the purchase of the pen for later. It's not needed right away. I'll do everything else first...

Sarah

Try it. If the pump draws 1000 liters of air, can the compressor provide more?

Lindsey3628

I have an Atman. It's just a little less than the 200 model. Nox completely modified it and put a 2.5t Atman pump on it. It can handle my 300 liters of water, but I highly doubt it can do more! It's noisy, the pump itself is loud, etc. At first, it was a hassle for about two weeks until I figured out how to set it up. P.S. Is the Bubble Magnus expensive?

John3142

How much does it cost?

Anthony

No.

Paul

I don't really know myself. Maybe someone can help...

John828

I can't even find a link to it.

Kayla7655

Boyu won't handle such a volume even with modifications. Post an ad in the classifieds, we had used ones for cheap, from Denis, maybe someone else has some too.

William5838

Thuh blin Bubble master, not Magnus. A shitty pen. I wonder which one can handle 600 liters and what its price will be? In general, you can really get a modified Jebo 520, and after six months to a year, switch to a good one. As I understand it, if you don't have the finances for a good pen, you won't be settling in quickly either. So you can go that route.

Brandon4517

I am not in a hurry. Rushing when setting up an aquarium leads to negative consequences.

Rachel9060

And that is correct.

Wendy

There seem to be such things on Airife. You can find out the price, but I don't think it will be cheap.

Brooke

if AТI, then about 400 Jews somewhere and above, if China Bubble Magus - then cheaper

Christopher7213

Sanya, how much does a bubble magus cost? I browsed through the reef central and noticed that many have reef octopuses and bubble maguses...

Jacob4800

Here is the China bubble magus, plus shipping 12-14 USD per kg. New octopuses are around 300, Baku 150, I don't remember exactly (I must have deleted the link). P.S. There are a lot of videos on YouTube about maguses and octopuses - they should be working.

Yolanda

What does anyone have to say about such a pen? I think Tkach has some like that...

Caroline1599

You can't buy a volume for 1000 pennies. The pump, Laguna, costs more. With other pumps like AM, NewJet, Atman, etc., you can create a penny for an aquarium up to 300 liters or install several pumps for a penny, but then the price increases. Look towards pennies on diffusers and focus on other types of filtration. People have aquariums that thrive on weak pennies and look quite good.

Tasha

Samp and algae will definitely be there. I will apparently replace the reed later. For now, it will be minimal.

James5103

How can I check, using the example of the 428, whether it is coping or not? What do I need to input into the system? With 5 and 3 fish, the parameters are the same... Should I feed the tubastrea daily? Should I add liquid food for LPS-soft corals?

Patrick4439

I'm just wondering if it's worth it to bother with a penny for my aquarium.

Ronald5720

It stands, it stands, let it not relax Samp is not a filter, but it has a bit more algae and a deeper layer of sand...

Lynn4242

It depends on the size of the sump, in my case, the size of the first compartment, where a normal skimmer will be placed in the future. I feel that I will have to allocate 30 cm for the first compartment. The algae scrubber will then be 50x50 at most. The sump will be 90x50x50.

Scott9892

By the way, I also decided to change the pen, I think all my troubles with cyan are because of it... so it's a very interesting topic. Tell me, objectively, if we don't chase after brands... and aim for 80% softness... what is the optimal pen? I wrote to him, he asks me... what do you need... and I don't even know which one, volume 450+50 sample... can you recommend?

Sheila1322

Why? The same Atmans are available at 7600 l/h. Air supply volume? What if we consider the Jebo 520 + Laguna pump as an option?

Anthony

I haven't touched them with my hands, but they are quite large. It should be normal, but again, Laguna is not a cheap pump. Great! And an MG 150W there. I've been looking for the optimal foam filter for myself for several years now. It's better to create a separate topic and describe your system in more detail. Although you could get something for 9,000 l/h for Laguna, and that would bring happiness. Or maybe not.

Frederick

Is there no link?

Julia

It seems like they are here. But they are supposedly brought by Suzirye. I got them from Yura in Kharkiv.

Natasha

Earl

Hmm... Isn't there supposed to be an air injector there? Or does it need to be modified?

Monica

It is definitely necessary.

David7773

I was pleased ...... Jebo 500 itself. Pump 2000. The modification is still ..... xxx. Isn't it easier to buy a good skimmer?

Charles894

Jebo 520 on a lagoon is like a Tavria on 20 wheels from an Escalade. You’re overthinking it, but in the end, you’ll still buy a good skimmer. Alternative methods are certainly good, but it’s even better when you’ve already launched a couple of cans and know how, what, and why. P.S. 50x50 for a macroalgae tank is quite good.

Courtney

Most likely, that's how it will be. I'll put something cheap for now, and in a couple of months, I'll get a decent skimmer. If, of course, I can't afford a good one right away.

Johnny

To be honest, I would recommend trying to stick with a skimmer on a diffuser. We take a Jebao and connect a pump like the Hydor Seltz L30, 1200 l/h (or any other with a capacity of 700 - 1200 l/h), insert two Aquamedic diffusers, and connect a compressor like the Atman HP-4000 or ViaAqua VA-4000. This is a professional compressor for aquariums, ponds, and aquarium systems up to 2000 liters. Power - 20W. Performance - 35 l/min (costs 330). In total, it will be around 1000, and we are good to go. I think it will work great.

Melinda

I will try, especially since there is a Tetra APS 300 compressor (300 l/h). The downside of the diffusers is that they need to be replaced every 6-8 weeks. However, there are also ceramic ones with spray quality no worse than linden (one is used in freshwater).

Catherine

Tetra APS 300 (300 l/h) is very little; at least 1000 l/h is needed. The diffusers last about two months (ceramics won't work, so don't even experiment). They cost about ten each, which means expenses are around 120 per year. I use salts for replacements costing 100 per month.

Danielle9144

Small 15, large 50

Jesse

Well, plus or minus, there are also Chinese ones, for example, Sherkhan makes them himself, and you need to know the places.
