So, was it the calcium hydroxide mixer? Or the calcium reactor? These are two different things...

ggg... have you seen the price... message me privately... we will organize a similar one for a low cost, you will be happy and satisfied... P.S. We can also stick a label AQUA MEDIC!

Thank you, I will definitely get in touch with you! But right now the question is different: Is it possible to use it in the system without a sump? How to supply water from the mixer to the aquarium? The drip method is needed, right?

Brent8919

I don't know how to do this beautifully without SAMPA. But it's not necessary to use a drip method either. For example, all the water I add passes through a calcium hydroxide mixer. The auto-fill is activated by a timer for 15 minutes every hour (to save the reed switch in the sensor and to prevent the system from being desalinated in case of anything). So, the water passes through the hydroxide mixer in a stream once every 15 minutes. Maybe you should also supply the added water immediately with dissolved hydroxide. P.S. You only need to be cautious about pH spikes from excessive hydroxide overflow.

That's exactly what I want to do! Will the dosing pump have enough power to lift the water from the mixer to the height of the aquarium? The diameter of the hose is quite large. Can it be made smaller? P.S. By the way, I also connected my dosing pump through a timer. There is no water level sensor there... There are waves on the surface of the water, it keeps turning on and off...

Everything is real.. take a photo (a diagram).. + explanations... and I will design everything to work perfectly!!!!

Why didn't the timers freeze?????

Justin9867

I didn't quite understand your question. It's an ordinary (good) timer for a 220V socket, daily. I set it to turn on every hour (the timer's granularity is 15 minutes). Through such timers, my auto top-off, all the lights, and the aqua cooler work (only during the day, so it doesn't hum in the evening and at night). There have been no failures at all. And if the timer does freeze... it won't be a tragedy.

With this method, flooding of neighbors occurs due to the overgrowth of the "shaft" of the float with various algae and the entry of small "bugs/snails" into it... In aqua-medicine, there are microprocessor-controlled dosing pumps (similar to medical ones for pumping blood - roller pumps). They can also lift liquid up to 10 meters (specifications) and can be programmed with minute precision for any operating mode. Prices range from 1400 to 3300 for 1 to 4 independent pumps. You can also connect automatic top-up, calcium, plankton, and fertilizers to them... one "-" is the price.
