The Tunz have one problem - the impeller breaks very quickly, and it's impossible to get a spare part, so you have to come up with workarounds, which is unacceptable given the price of the device.

Hello
I will be brief. Everything listed is going to the trash.
Heather2018
If you want to spend money, it's better to give it to the poor; it will do more good.
Helen
I read your topic and understood what the phrase "improve the water in the aquarium" meant.
1) Be prepared to throw away the substrate. It needs to be replaced with aragonite sand (see online topics about DSB).
2) Buy a reverse osmosis system.
3) Buy timers for the lights.
4) Bring the sump design to the studio.
5) Clear space in the trash can for bio balls, circulation pumps, return pump, and skimmer.
Cindy
Well, damn... why not take Deltek instead of Tyunze's place?
Tiffany5069
Why not turn the pile of Tyunze into a refuge?
Joseph8842
nanostrims for your aquarium, it's just a mockery.. they will be of little use
Natalie
I'm okay with that, please tell me where I can find it online.
John

If giving to the poor brings at least moral satisfaction, buying Tunze will bring neither benefit nor moral satisfaction, nor money. Tunze had one specialty - streams. It was there and then it disappeared when Risan and Hidor made analogs that took over.

The hidors arrived and immediately sank. They worked for 2-3 months at 5 familiar places. I wonder if there are any other long-timers like that on the forum. Hidor can't get any worse.
Cassandra1840
You should read in this thread what is being said about nanostreams. Check out other forums, ask about the reliability of Tunze pumps. Resun is a very good choice for the money, even though it's from China. "Wings, tail... the main thing is the legs." The flow should be created with external pumps, but that's quite a hassle.

Complete nonsense
I installed about 30 of them, none broke, even though they should have.
In the dolphinarium, the voltage during the day was 190V, half of them couldn't start and were crackling all day long, and nothing...
So far, there have been no fatalities with the Risans, and about 15 of them have been standing for a long time, the first ones for over a year.
George5104
Hidors should only be connected through a transformer - any voltage spike will burn them out immediately!
Martha
Hidor is terrible. In less than a year, 2 Coralias have gone to the great beyond. Right now, there's a Resan, it's been working for three months. We'll see.
P.S. They already replied that the Hidors burned out after being turned on. I called for the pump, and after 5 minutes of turning it on, it doesn't work.
Helen
With our voltage fluctuations and outages, we need to buy an inverter.
Vanessa
I also lost 3 out of 4 Hidoras in six months. The Resun pumps are working well and are easier to deal with than the Hidoras, with no cracking during startup or low voltage. By summer, we will bring in the SunSun Hidor - SunSun JVP-101, that's where the fun will be - they should cost around $30.
Rachael
Guys, what are you really doing? Let's go back to where we started: the Compact Kit 18.7 and nanostreams... is there anyone who disagrees that this is useless? As for breakdowns, even Resun products have issues. In the MD70, for example, you immediately need to replace the starting capacitor from 350 to 600. In TUNZE Master electronic, the ceramic shaft breaks... There is no happiness in life! There isn't! The solution is either an inverter or to leave this country.
Robert1845
Nemo Oceanarium (on Lanzheron) costs 12 units of four since September - there have been no fatalities (I haven't seen such electrical issues as they have anywhere else). Maybe they are just lucky.
Gregory9432
I read on other forums, for example in Moscow, where they recommend Tunze streams (and indeed have encountered breakdowns). As far as I know, the nano streams I mentioned started being produced in November 2007, and during this time, no one has brought them in. The auto top-off mount and other minor details have been improved, and there have been occasional defects in different batches that were successfully replaced. I currently have the 4th Coral, which has been working properly for a month, so I can't complain about the Coral either.

When I respond to someone on the forum, I give advice based on my PERSONAL experience, or if that's not the case, I say that the experience is not mine. If my first post is not enough, I'll repeat: PERSONALLY, I had FOUR Tunze pumps, and they all failed very quickly. At first, I tried to be clever, then I gave up, set up an Atman (yes, yes!) and everything is OK! On the forum, there are photos of some of my tanks - everything is from China! You can evaluate.
Natasha7622
Very beautiful, I can only dream of such a thing for now. But on the forum, you wrote, "Equipment - homemade foam separation column and sterilizer, Sera denitrator, all Atman pumps (I remind you - the aquarium was made 7 years ago and no upgrades have been made!)" That is, everything was 7 years ago, a lot has changed since then, some things have gotten worse, some better, not to mention that something might break down (let's say - I get a lifetime warranty, and I'll keep the Chinese equipment just in case for replacement). What is the quality of this equipment on a scale of 1 to 10 (not considering the price and what might break)?
Stephanie4990
Show me where I discouraged you from Tunez pumps? Where? I wrote it in black and white: streams + controller + vibe box!!!!! I say that nanostreams for your aquarium are like shooting a cannon at a fly. Don't like that the streams are big? Then you should consider external pumps.
David4968
I looked up the wave box, and in the description, it is applicable for overflow in the center of the aquarium, but I have it on the side.
Sharon
The tunze is running, additionally there is a voltage stabilization block, so voltage spikes should be safe. I also think of getting a UPS; it won't stabilize the electricity, but if the power goes out, it will last for some time.
Tricia7885
UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUhhhhh.....
Let's take a look
the overflow column on the left, the vibebox on the right! The winner of the month at the reef center, are you the authority?
Hunter1471
So how many minutes will you work on the UPS? By the way, you need it to output a pure sine wave.
Cheyenne2747
I haven't thought about it, I have a 3000AP in my office that keeps the computer running for almost an hour when the power is out.
Courtney
So just imagine how much the computer takes and how much your system consumes... You need something like this.
Caroline1599
I see, I got carried away with the ups.
Alec9378
So what about the quality of the filter's work?
Katie5500
What? What filter?
Jessica
Buy for this amount. With the remaining money (if there is any left), buy more J.K. (living stones) and throw them into the samp. P.S. Anyway, take this pile of nonsense from Tyunz! You came here to hear this, didn't you?
Joshua3019
thank you finally!!!
John3165
God help you
You, just come in if anything
Brooke3987
Read more carefully. This is only about one, the first aquas, I posted photos of at least five... The last one was launched a year ago.
