live rock (LR), dry rock (DR), sand
water pumps and return pumps
that's about it.
How much it costs - put a price next to each item, and you'll find out the initial costs, while the cost of livestock you'll know later.
Monthly expenses - salt for water changes, food, and electricity.
In short, that's about it; I might have missed something or included something unnecessary, so don't be too harsh.

It all depends on which equipment to make yourself and which to buy. You also need reverse osmosis because for a 100-liter aquarium for topping up and water changes, you need more water than for a nano reef. You can count on 10,000, maybe even enough for live rocks (L.R.) and dry reef rocks (D.R.R.). It's not laziness; I have never had a marine aquarium and I'm not really aware of what is needed for it. Therefore, I first decided to ask those who know about it for at least an approximate budget for such a pleasure.

I read the forum for 1.5 years, mentally went from 30 liters to 250. I started... There is no limit to happiness!!!! Read, ask questions. Everything will become clear, or better yet, start making the sea, it's worth it!!!!!!!! As they say, fish brings happiness to the home, and when there is a sea at home, the issue of money resolves itself...
