Hello everyone! I'm heading to the sea and had the idea to catch a couple of shrimp and crayfish for myself, but with what? I thought about using the old good method with a flip, but made from a plastic bottle, using catfish tablets as bait. Any ideas?

Why such complications, crayfish can be caught by hand, and for shrimp, a regular net with a fine mesh is sufficient. Usually, in the seas, they sell children's nets, like those for butterflies, with a one-meter bamboo handle and small colorful meshes, which are quite convenient and inexpensive.

Currently in Zatoka. A small number of shrimp are being caught by dragging a net along the underwater surfaces overgrown with algae (large stones, etc.). A net about 20-30 cm wide is better for maneuverability, and 30-40 cm deep to prevent them from escaping. A round-shaped net would be inconvenient. In an hour, a man caught about 3 liters of shrimp using a net over the remains of a ship.

Oh! So I will also be making a net.

I'm just going to the Black Sea, where there are many long breakwaters covered with grass. I've already made a rectangular net from an old broken fishing net and put in a fine mesh. I plan to keep the catch in a bucket with a pump for circulation, as I'm going to fish for 3-4 days and I think I'll head to the aquarium on the penultimate day.
