There is a CO2 regulator Aqua Medic. I noticed that in the mode when CO2 is not supplied, the pressure on the manometer shows 2.7-2.9 bar, and when gas is supplied, it drops to 1.9 bar. The instructions state that the operating pressure is 1.5 bar. If anyone uses this regulator, please let me know how it behaves.

I have a different reducer, but I wouldn't set it to 1.5 atmospheres - that's absolutely unnecessary pressure in this case, 0.5 will be enough. It's showing correctly for you. In CO2 supply mode, you need to set the pressure to 1 atmosphere, and it will be fine.

Max! It is not adjustable, it doesn't even have a valve for adjustments, only for fine tuning and that's it.

Christopher

Terrible reducer, the price is astronomical, and there are no adjustments; I see there isn't even an emergency valve.

He's not bad, it's just that if I'm not mistaken, it goes under special aquarium medical tanks, and they seem to be disposable... I once dreamed of buying something like that, and as a result, I ended up with a 10-liter black tank for a cosmo... and that was an unfulfilled dream...

Oleg, don't panic, it's a glitch with the spring and the membrane that reduces the pressure from 50 to 1.5 atm. Theoretically, you could unscrew the plug and see what happened, but practically, I wouldn't advise you to get involved.

Maybe there are service centers that do this? I would like to fix this glitch for peace of mind.

Ask in Kharkiv, he was pulling them in.

Tanya

Have you had such a reducer?

Bonnie

Turn off CO2 at night. If possible, take a photo of the system.
