I would make it 60x40x45, I think this way the view will be more successful, although your option is also great, there are plenty of 24W lamps...

Thank you very much. Now I'm going to dig through the forum )) Do I need to immediately install something inside, or can I order the aquarium itself and then set everything up later?

Steven757

P.S. If it's not too much trouble, could you please specify what lamps and equipment are needed for such an aquarium? (in terms of price, not too fancy - average) Thank you.

Bonnie

I would choose either ATI or AM.

Johnny

The aquarium is ordered. 60*40*43h without edges made of 8 mm glass. The light will be from T5 at 24 W. We need 4 pieces, right?

Alicia5489

I would prefer to take Salifert or Tropic Marin tests; they are more accurate according to reviews than the ones you chose. Ideally, 4 lamps should be enough for this volume.

Kathy

The aquarium itself is ready. I made the lid myself, using only a utility knife, so it took a long time. I made a semi-transformer; the top plates can be removed if it gets too hot, although there are already large gaps, and I will also install some fans. I plan to add live rocks (about 10-12 kg) and dry reef rocks this weekend. I have 10.5 kg of sand, and I think it will be enough.

Well done. I liked the light!!! The coolers can be mounted in the racks. The width allows them to be placed at an angle.

Kimberly2102

I thought about immediately "fitting" them into the racks, but then I decided that there would most likely be a plate on the back wall with rotating (tilting) coolers. There, both the height and space allow for it.

I bought 5 kg of live rocks and tomorrow 10 kg of dry reef rocks will arrive, I will be turning them around. Who could this be approximately? I put the rocks in water and after about 10 minutes, around 8 small black creatures came out, looking like dandelions but with flat heads, they hide when disturbed or when the light changes. Is it a feather duster worm? And one more question - after the light went out and I turned on the night light, there are pink spots glowing on the rocks and some dark burgundy ones, what is this and will it spread on the rocks? It looks beautiful. Thank you.

Who is this? Who needs to be exterminated?

Brenda

The first two seem to be Mayano, in the third photo is Aiptasia, both need to be eradicated.

and one more... black...

Justin

Black - fan worm

Thank you. As I understand, we don't need to take them down, otherwise there are just too many.

William

They are filters and do not cause harm.
