chlorination of water - osmosis

Hello! Our water supply has announced "water chlorination." Should we use the reverse osmosis filter during this period? Or should we not bother it? Best regards, Alex

Before chlorination, perform a water change in the aquariums, and after 1 week, check by smell.

In short, do not use the reverse osmosis system during chlorination (turn the faucet to the closed position).

Who knows what they are using, either membrane can ruin it. I haven't used it for a couple of days after that.

Chlorine is not that scary; any pre-filters with activated carbon will prevent it from reaching the membrane. Chloramine is much more serious and dangerous for aquarists.
