how to set up correctly, how to place the pumps? where can I take a look? Thank you in advance

Place the pumps where you want to create flow. The modes are very easy to set up; when you hold the VM-3 in your hands, you'll figure it out in 5 minutes.

I'm holding it, looking) the regulator confuses me(... I see 2 modes that switch with the mode button (a+d=b+c and a-b-c-d) how to set the pumps in these modes? all 4 on one side of the tank or in pairs somehow...

It's better to do it in pairs, facing each other, then there will be the effect of a rolling and opening wave (achieve this by adjusting the pump frequency).
