It's simple. A salt mixture without sodium. The base consists of chlorides of alkali and rare earth metals (excluding sodium). Depending on the manufacturer, the proportions of the components vary. Professional preparations of this kind are always two-component (two aquariums, not one), as the smaller aquarium contains a sulfate base with heavy halides.

Thank you for the response) Honestly, I didn't understand much, so I'll ask my friends to decode it into "boy's language"; If I'm not using baling in its classic form (calcium chloride plus soda) and instead adding, for example, Tropic in "Bio Calcium Actif," is there a need for "salt without salt"? The goal is to reduce the amount of water changes (there are pros and cons to water changes).

I have been using a homemade calcium + soda + salt (without salt) balling method since March. SPS feel good. I do water changes rarely.

I used it, then I stopped. It’s still lying around somewhere. It’s all marketing. If you do the substitutions at least once a month, you can forget about this salt. It just needs to compensate for the reaction of calcium and soda, but as practice shows, all of this can be ignored.
