Was the old membrane discarded? If not, rinse it and leave it for a day to check the TDS. There may be a defect in the new membrane. Most likely, something is wrong with the new one, as it shows 50, but in the morning it shows 500. By the way, has the TDS meter been calibrated recently? It could also be that there is something wrong with the TDS meter.

Kathleen

When installing the membrane, the rubber gasket did not twist anywhere, and the normal reading was up to 7 TDS, which is still not normal. My membrane is six months old, along with the resin, and the TDS is 4?

Kellie

I have already double-checked everything, even bought another membrane, and there was no flask smaller than 47... it's just that the input is 1490... I will be adding another RO system in series.

Tanya

I had a similar situation, I installed a new membrane, TDS - 50 and it gradually rises, I put the old one - the same problem, in the end the issue was with the four-way valve for reverse osmosis systems.

Michael

If the input is 1400, place a couple of bottles with cartridges that reduce hardness before the filter. And also, does the flow restrictor drain the water properly? Is it designed for a 75G membrane?

Thank you, this one hasn't changed... what is its operating principle? A new OSMOS from another company has arrived, but it doesn't have it... I'll check tomorrow...

How is that not the case? If there is a tap, there will be a valve. The principle is simple - roughly speaking, under the influence of pressure, the rubber moves back and forth. When the tap is opened, the rubber opens the drain; when the tap is closed (the tank is filled), the rubber closes the drain.

How long does the resin work with such a RPM?

George5104

I still don't know. I will be the one applying the resin.

I know you can quickly mess up the resin: it will absorb everything and then release it, while you... will be relaxing, watching the beautiful aquarium, and when the complete disaster hits, you'll check the water, and it will be like it was for me - from zero to 220, and then the diatoms and all sorts of crap... I set up another osmosis in series, but there are issues with their coordinated operation - as long as I'm home, there are no problems, but if I step out... it's a different story.

Today I checked two osmosis systems connected in series - the first one cleans the water to 50 PPM and accumulates it in two tanks that came with it, then the second one is connected - at the output - 001!!! Three pre-filter cartridges remained unused - I reconnected them and installed resin in them... for the stable operation of the pump in the second osmosis system, another tank needs to be installed before the cartridges with resin... That's it! 000!!!

Hooray! Thank God! Through hardships to the stars, and if you suffer long enough, something will come out of it. Congratulations.

Thank you. You have 250 at the entrance, and then there are no problems, but here it has to be...

A week has passed - everything is working stably. Today I checked - the refill in the sump is at 001 PPM, the used water at 135 PPM is collected in a 50-liter plastic barrel, I will use it in the freshwater tank. The only thing I don't like is the barrel next to the aquarium.
