It is worth noting. 2 kg of fauna marine calcium chloride dissolve in 5 liters of osmosis. 500 g of dihydrate calcium chloride dissolve in 3.79 liters (according to Randy).

everyone buys somewhere and stays silent well, that's fine...

Yes, they take the ready-made, tropic marin. Still, "salt-without-salt" is needed. And the reagents for CHDA are indeed expensive everywhere. Although, in my opinion, HCH is quite enough (or maybe even CH). Off-topic. Try to find out here.

Paul

ChDA is expensive, but HCh is more than enough. Prices are up to 40 per kg for any salt; I even found magnesium chloride for 15 per kg, while in our city it sells for 40. Look for his thread about reagents; it's quite recent, and it has the seller's contact information.

Guys, HC is a step above CDA. C -> CDA -> HC -> OS.C. Especially pure is just out of this world. HC, as you can see, is calcium chloride for $75 per kg. Salt without salt is needed according to Balling and Tropic Marin, while according to Randy and Fauna Marin, it is not needed.

the closest thing here is anhydrous calcium chloride food grade ... I couldn't find a suitable magnesium at all. That's about it ... :-/

What they are rich in

Bridget

I bought from suppliers on this site. Naturally, it was more expensive than wholesale, but I didn't need much.

I wrote in private here, did not receive a response. There is MgSO4 *7 H2O pharmaceutical grade for 100 per kg, that's good. There is CaCl+2H2O pharmaceutical grade for 180 per kg. MgSO4x7H2O (magnesium sulfate, heptahydrate), pharmaceutical grade - 50 per kg. MgCl2x6H2O (magnesium chloride, hexahydrate), technical grade - 68 per kg. Is the quality of the technical grade acceptable?
