Sheila

Is it for the sake of saving? Or is there no specially prepared solution available on the market?

Rebecca

I think it's better not to add a 5% alcohol solution of iodine (pharmaceutical) to your aquarium. I found some information, read it here, I think it will be interesting.

Caitlin3279

I take pharmacy drops once a week for half a year, 10 drops, everyone is alive, and Ksenia is immediately lively.

Danny

Could you please specify the volume of 10 drops? Thank you.

total 500 (actually I’m filling a syringe needle, yes I’m pouring it out), but no one here will advise you like that... out of desperation, I once bought sarcophiton at a pharmacy... I lived normally for another 3 months, then I died but already from cyanide... by the way, during all this time, only he (from corals) and a shrimp from the animals died on me...

Jeffrey6189

in iodine? I just bathed my sarc in Lugol's solution it was written on the logo, and here on the forum too

Christopher7213

I know I just needed to save the animal urgently... it didn't go well...

Lee425

It can be said that it's also for the sake of saving. I've just heard more than once that marine aquarium enthusiasts add pharmacy iodine, so I asked. But it seems I'll have to buy the Sechem supplement.

Read more here, as Naryla said! I read it a while ago, and I usually try to remember the opinions of authoritative people! Note that he used it in a soft aquarium, Ksenia, Clavularia... they love the presence of iodine from any manufacturer. But you have a lot of SPS frags (small-polyped corals), and from an excess of iodine, they turn brown. Are you sure that your aquarium lacks iodine?

Jesse

A good kind of "loser"

Mark7376

Due to the pharmacy's poison, even the mushrooms will turn brown... In the nursery, the pharmacy's poison was poured. There lived Ksenia, for whom it was poured. Ksenia liked it, but the mushrooms went from green to brown.

Can I see the price of the issue?

Kevin3579

Answer one question. Why did you decide to add iodine???? What is the purpose?

Brooke

Everything is fine with the iodine, I just add it occasionally for prevention. That's why I asked the question.

Tanya

if for the sake of saving, it's better to compare this iodine with the pharmacy one

Jason9385

San, if everything is fine, don't add anything extra. All these additives are from the devil. It's better to just replace it with water. And if it still itches, it's better to buy a branded one; at least the dosage is clear there.

Michelle1662

The problem with the website is that I seemed to have searched for such iodine in ireef, but apart from the Zyukhtov supplement, I didn't see anything - I must have searched poorly. We will wait for your new web development.

Brian

As far as I know, you talked to Denis about 10 times just today.

Todd

Well, not 10 times, but 4. And I'm not planning to get iodine for now, just testing the waters; I'll save up some spare cash and get it along with some Zyuhtov's chemicals and white lamps.

Sandra7004

Iodine does not play the most important role in marine aquariums. There are much more important substances that should be considered long before iodine.

John

Can you then list what to pay attention to before iodine? And what are the signs afterwards? For example, the discoloration of green and red algae - what is lacking??? Or maybe it's an excess of something???... I'm just getting overwhelmed, and the old chemistry from university isn't helping, or maybe I just can't remember... or maybe I've smoked through a couple of pages)))

Caroline1599

These are very complex questions, complicated in that writing an article about colors will take a week, and there isn't enough time... If there is a lack of green, iron should be added. First of all, attention should probably be paid to feeding the corals... and only then to achieving various colors and shades. Again, this all relates to chemistry. Don't forget about light, the operation of the protein skimmer, and the parameters of Kh... Over the phone, either Denis or I can provide more detailed answers regarding which chemistry is responsible for which colors...
