I think it's better not to add a 5% alcohol solution of iodine (pharmaceutical) to your aquarium. I found some information, read it here, I think it will be interesting.

Note that he used it in a soft aquarium, Ksenia, Clavularia... they love the presence of iodine from any manufacturer. But you have a lot of SPS frags (small-polyped corals), and from an excess of iodine, they turn brown. Are you sure that your aquarium lacks iodine?

San, if everything is fine, don't add anything extra. All these additives are from the devil. It's better to just replace it with water. And if it still itches, it's better to buy a branded one; at least the dosage is clear there.
