I have been using SERA pH Test for the second year, no complaints. Best regards.

I use the same test. Even despite the long operating periods, no discrepancies in the readings have been observed.

I also use the Sera test; there is a clear color gradation when transitioning from one value to another. However, do not take the test from Aquarium Pharmaceuticals under any circumstances; the color gradation in the range most important for marine environments is terrible. In any case, I cannot distinguish the difference in color between pH 7.8 and 8.4.

The Serov test with a step of half a unit, what can be seen there?

take an electronic pH meter in the aquarium and you will be happy)

What is the purpose of the test? You set up this device powered by a "Crown" battery, and you can see everything in real time.

Are the RED SEA tests worth it, or is it better to look for something else?
Emily
The scale is really unclear.

I do this very rarely. At work - with pH meters, at home - with strips for determining the pH of urine from Norm.

look for something else...

I have used it and will continue to use it if I don't buy a controller.

Off-topic. This is called the total cost of ownership/purchase: a test costs between $5 and $8. It varies for everyone, but it lasts about a month. Here, in electronics, calibration solutions are needed once a year, costing $1-2. Calculate when you want to buy a controller, and you'll understand what is more cost-effective.
