Greetings. I have been using this salt (though not for long). The weaver mentioned that it is the minimum acceptable quality. But as they say, there are as many opinions as there are people. What I didn't particularly like is that it doesn't dissolve very well. In the end, everything dissolved, but the wasp lasted a day. According to the tests (two weeks after salting), Ca is 540, KH is 12. A big plus is the price. Aiptasia are doing well.

Jesse

Just stay on it. I didn't like Redsi.

Wesley

I used Red Sea, didn't like it, switched to Tetra, and I'm satisfied...

Crystal

Dissolves perfectly. I am satisfied. But they say that Tetra is still better. It is written that the salt is real from the Red Sea.

Jose

Tetra salt or Tropic salt?

Maria6659

Tetra in, another drops out or Red Sea Coral Pro Salt.

Zoe7451

The best available today is Tropicin and Reef Crystals.

Jessica

Tropic in is this tetra, and the Crystal Reef is the Red Sea, and what exactly you are using and at what time.

Emma

No, these are independent brands (if I can put it that way). I have used both, and I am currently using Tropic Marin. It's hard to say which one is better; both are worthy...

Reef Chrystals is Aquarium Systems.

I understand this is America, we can't get this in the province, is it easier in Kyiv? So is this topic closed? Let me put the question differently, if I have to choose between the two, that is 1. Red Sea Coral Pro Salt or 2. Tetra Marine Sea Salt?

Jennifer5784

Stop messing around. What province are you talking about? So what if there's no store. Call Tkach, he's in Kyiv. It gets there by Autolux in a day. You're just creating problems for yourselves.

Jeanne

I actually asked for help to choose between two types of salt: 1. Red Sea Coral Pro Salt 2. Tetra Marine Sea Salt. I didn't ask for anything else, and I am focused on what interests me, while you are wasting time suggesting things I didn't ask about. I know perfectly well where and how much it costs. Thank you for your help.

Elizabeth

I would choose Red Sea. It dissolves in about 20 minutes, there is a lot of criticism, but the "soft" system works well with this product.

Earl

There are some white pieces that dissolve slowly (definitely more than 20 minutes), most likely something related to calcium...

Caitlin3279

A representative of the company wrote that it is magnesium. They save on the price of magnesium, which is why the salt is cheaper than the aforementioned "authoritative" brands. They do not want to raise the price for now.

Tammy2040

Guys, there are two types of salt in Red Sea. 1. Red Sea Salt, which is intended for tap water and has less calcium and magnesium, meaning it is designed to be replenished from tap water. And 2. Red Sea Coral Pro Salt, which is only for osmosis water and has maximum levels of magnesium and calcium, much more than the first one. These are the interesting facts; I just found out about this recently.

Jill9137

I don't know who told you such nonsense, but my advice is to stop listening to that person. There are two types—one for fish tanks and the other for coral or reef aquariums. As for replenishing micro and macro elements with tap water, that's just the latest trend... with that logic, you could keep an aquarium without a reactor, balling, or other additives; just add tap water and enjoy.

I wrote in private. Don't believe them, they deceive and won't even blink...

Melissa

I read it, so I shared it for everyone to see; the information might help someone understand or learn something.

I use RED-CI Ksenia synularia politoi clavularia feel fine, but the sarcophyton somehow doesn't feel right to me!

Amanda5586

You can use aquamedic salt for your softness... and everyone will be happy...

Brent7831

There is some truth to it: in many developed countries, plastic pipes are used, and the cleaning is done not with chlorine or chemicals, but with some other stuff...

Tami

It's been a year and a half since then.

Spencer7805

I saw and know, I just thought about this topic myself, so I was reading on the forum...
