MgSO4
Rebecca
Is this by any chance pharmacy-grade magnesium powder?
Mark7376
Pharmaceutical magnesium oxide (poorly soluble magnesium oxide) and sulfate - a well-soluble coarse crystalline preparation.

In your post, there is a mistake - it is not MnSO4, but MgSO4.
You can buy a 25% solution for injections called "Magnesium sulfate" (in medical jargon - "magnesia") at the pharmacy.

This is exactly how I add 1/4 teaspoon to 120-160 liters.
Earl
Yes, thank you, I will fix it.

In chemistry, I'm a novice, but as far as I remember, magnesium ion is used, and the accumulating sulfate acid residue won't be harmful?
David4968
Here I recommend adding the branded Magnesium.
Matthew7977
I wonder if the composition is written on the branded supplement?
Maybe we can find an alternative?

What brand, if it's not a secret, and what makes it better? Magnesium, in my opinion, doesn't need to be chelated.
Susan
There is magnesium from Tropic Marin in liquid form and in powder.

Thank you very much for the answers.
But I still didn't understand if MgSO4 can be used to raise magnesium levels.
Thank you.

It is possible. The SO4 in the water will increase, but I don't think it will affect anything.
P.S. It is unknown what the composition of the "trendy, bourgeois" products is; it could be the same as MgSO4.

Magnesium chloride is very well stored as a saturated solution - 4.82M, if memory serves.

In children's pharmacies (or where medicinal preparations are sold), 10% magnesium sulfate is available, but it should be noted that hardness will increase.

There is a 25% magnesium sulfate solution in the pharmacy. Can it be poured into the aquarium or not?
Kimberly2102
Why not, of course it is possible; moreover, pharmacy solutions guarantee the purity of the solution and make it easy to calculate the amount of the added element.
