Greetings everyone. I have realized a long-held dream and started saltwater aquarium! The aquarium is 38x38x38cm, made of opti-white glass, with a volume of ~55 liters. The lighting is a Radium PRO 30 66W (Thanks, Spamcheg!). The hang-on filter is a Seachem Tidal 55, and the hang-on protein skimmer is a Bubble Magus QQ1. The water flow is provided by a Hydor Koralia Nano 900. The heater is an EHEIM thermocontrol e 50W. I used Salit test kits. The water is reverse osmosis, and the salt is Aquarium Systems Reef Crystals. Dry reef rocks (~7kg) and Prodibio Aragonite Premium 1-2mm substrate with bacteria were used. The setup was completed on 8.02.2020. Approximately 5kg of sand, with a 3-4cm layer, was used. The rocks were arranged without glue, creating a nice slope for future inhabitants. The reverse osmosis water took half a day to filter, finishing just before midnight. In the filter, I placed the included sponge and Seachem Matrix, filling the remaining volume with polyester to clear the cloudiness. I added two ampoules of bacteria that came with the sand - Prodibio BioDigest + BiOptim. The next morning, the water was crystal clear. The test results are: pH 8.15, KH 12,
