Greetings! So, I've been drawn into the ocean depths quite thoroughly, and there's no turning back now! The third stage of the evolution of my sea, which has been influenced by the purchase of a Fluval Reef set for 90 liters at a very sweet price. The condition is lightly used, with the marine equipment being new, as it was previously used as a freshwater tank. A couple of days ago, I salted the water with Red Sea Coral Pro, and added a bag of Carib Sea Carib Sea Bahamas oolite sand. In a couple of days, I'll be adding live rock, planning for a total of around 8-9 kg for the aquarium. The lighting will be T5 and LED.
Question about the sand: Cloudiness has started to settle, and a layer of silt is appearing on the bottom. Should I siphon it out, or is this part of the natural process? Has anyone else encountered this? I didn't wash the sand, and I poured in the bag with
