• My first marine aquarium

  • Katherine

After 2 years of growing plants in a freshwater aquarium, I developed a desire to try my hand at a small saltwater setup. Additionally, after my daughter watched the movie "Finding Nemo," she started pleading "Daddy, let's get Nemo for our aquarium," which further fueled my interest. In short, I decided to go for it. Given the limited space in the room, I opted for a small aquarium and found a discounted Coralife Aquamarineset of 15 liters at an aquatic show exhibition, although in hindsight, a30-liter tank might have been preferable. I purchased rocks, sand, and salt, mixed the saltwater, and set up the aquarium. After three days, I added a Thor shrimp and a Kenya tree. A week later, I acquired a zoanthid. Recently, I introduced a sand dollar starfish, a snail, and a bryozoan, but the bryozoan hasn't been opening for the past 4 days. I'm expecting a xenia coral soon. Now, I'd appreciate any suggestions from experts on what else I can add that would be affordable affordable and visually appealing. In the future, I also plan to get a couple of clownfish and a dot
