Hello everyone! I decided to gradually restore the old 40x40x40 aquarium. The aquarium was successfully drained and moved to a larger volume: 450+100. The empty aquarium has been lying in the basement for about a year. Yesterday I took it out... The front glass is optiwhite. 8mm. The internal SUMP was glued together from foamed PVC. This material is not suitable for this purpose: it is soft, bends from the water, and you cannot hang a light on its edge - it bends. Moreover, the silicone adheres poorly. Now I am faced with a choice: either try to remake it on glass or completely abandon the SUMP... I will try to post the entire process in photos. It's possible that the inspiration will pass and nothing will work
