Hello everyone, it's been a while since my last activity on the forum. This is my 4th aquarium. All the previous 3 were in different rented apartments, but now the renovation in my own place is finally done and I can fully pursue my favorite hobby (if I had the money), the aquarium was delivered today, along with the sump and the metal frame. The casing will be ordered tomorrow, there will be sliding doors like in a wardrobe, I decided on this to ensure normal access, as there is a sofa next to the aquarium. So, it will be a SPS-dominated tank (mainly acropora) with a small number of LPS (goniopora, acans, catalaphyllia, lobophyllia) and some umbrellas. Not all the equipment is installed yet (the calcium reactor is in the garage, the protein skimmer is coming from China) and the bypass is not done. The drainage The drainage and the RO hose were laid under the floor, so the auto-top-up is from the RO and the water changes are in place, I just inserted the hose in the hole and drained as much as needed, no more buckets running. The aquarium is1218x650x600(h). The sump is 860x530x500(h) and the salt mixing container is 60l on the right side, the DC-180 protein skimmer. Lighting: 2 AI Hydra 48 HD on 2 MH150W and 4 T5 39W for now, will be converted to T5 and LED later. Calcium reactor: Aquamedic KR 1000, auto top-up: float valve (from RO), flow: 2 Jebao RW-8 pumps, there's also a wave box, if it's not enough I'll add it. Return pump: Jebao TM 5000 (excellent 220V quiet pump, lasted a year in my old aquarium). The start-up will be after the 27th, I decided to start after my vacation, I'm leaving for a week. 31.03
