A couple of months ago, I joined the ranks of marine enthusiasts! I have been keeping freshwater aquariums since the age of 7, so I decided to try my hand at the sea! Initially, I did not have any financial resources! Therefore, I saved as much as I could. In terms of equipment, I have: the aquarium itself with a rear sump, a BOYU 308 skimmer, a SOBO 1000L/h pump (which pumps from the sump, providingample circulation), and a 100-watt Jebo heater. I obtained RO water from fellow marine hobbyists in Sumy (thank you!), without whom I would not have been able to manage. I started the cycle on 05/12/14, and the water soon became clear (I should note that I used a point-and-shoot camera, so the colors are not accurately represented in the photos, but I played with the settings a bit later). On 14/12/14, the rocks from Spamcheg arrived! I was very pleased with them. Due to the lack of time, I left the setup as is. So, on 24/01/15, after 1.5 months, the aquarium looks like this.
