So why are you sinning by reducing the size? You say there's no space, but you sacrificed the sea for the sake of shelves? That's not how it works in maritime terms.

Leonard

You are very categorical in your statements. The sea for the sake of the sea is not a goal for everyone. Sometimes it is a small corner needed by the owner for reasons only he understands. In this case, I dare to suggest that the shelves are a partition between the functional areas of the room; if you place plants on them, it will turn out creatively.

Shane

The aquarium is interesting. But even more interesting is what will happen next.

Stephen

Personally, I would place a jar in the light, not too tall and not too wide.

Jade

I exaggerated to a greater extent, but I wasn't joking. It would be nice to have some jars to share the room, about 500 liters would be the right size =) otherwise, small aquariums, in 90% of cases, are just wasted money...

Angela

Well, not everything is as we want it, in this case, this situation... :/ So I am guided by the availability of the free space that I had! So as not to completely give up the jar! As for the shelves, this solution is indeed for visually dividing the room, that is, separating the sleeping area from the relaxation area! Absolutely right, this is the so-called partition, often used to visually increase the space in the room. Thank you! I will finish with the lighting, then I will start playing with the stones, I think I will post the final result on the weekend!

Cassandra1840

I really didn't like it. The aquarium itself and the light are nice, but I've never seen such a "stand" by the bed. I think it will be very uncomfortable, and after three dozen bumps against the imaginary beauty, it's taken apart into details. Regarding the division of the room, it's not always appropriate. And when they divide, it's not just about separating the bed while leaving zero space. Well, to each their own. I apologize.

Offtopic, it's just a photo from some website, you can see that it's computer design.. as an option..

Michelle1505

A jar measuring 80d-40w-25h will have a clear volume of about 60 liters (I just really love panoramas and am considering making something like this for myself), there won't be any issues with lighting (a couple of T5 24w will be enough for softness, or T8 20w or ...), and you can separate a compartment for equipment from the wall side (like in Boyu). To each their own...

Sarah7284

Well, the light is there, it's just not turned on! And I think a child doesn't really need light to sleep; there is a work wall (on the right) for the child, and I believe that's where the necessary light is! The aquarium is beautiful, the idea is not bad, but the wall seems to be asking for something different instead of yours!

Keith7534

I like it. And the aquas are above my head, and to hit them you have to really try hard. So it turns out to be fun, just need to wipe the glass more often.

Michael826

Maybe the photo is just not very good, and the room looks completely different.

Thomas1044

Beauty As for the panoramas, the neighbors have a 250-liter panoramic one; I believe the designers did a great job there. It separates the kitchen and the living room. I flipped through it and got inspired too, and I realized that when it comes to experiments, one should take their time, and it should turn out to be a "CANDY."

Keith7534

If it's not too much trouble, could you describe the launch of the sea Offtopic in more detail later? I'm completely clueless about this.

Lindsay

Yes, I agree with you, and you know, I can already imagine how cool it would be to lie in bed, dreaming about this and that, while looking at the sea. It would be great to put some plants on the shelves to make it green; then it would feel like being in the jungle by the ocean.

James3382

Off-topic, well then we can dream not only)))

Rachel

Off-topic, the main thing is that coconuts don't fall on your head.

Daniel9952

No, you didn't convince me. There's the sea instead of those shelves, it would have fenced off the sleeping area... and there would be romance... with my wife by the seaside. And we could even plant mangroves to have a green thicket. But the place for the aquarium, I would say, is not very good; first, it's too close to the wall and "above your head," it won't be very convenient to watch or take care of it... There won't be much to see. Plus, if you hang anything on the aquarium, you'll have to hang it on the sides, not against the wall, which won't be very convenient either... And sleeping with 40 liters of water and rocks above your head won't be very pleasant, especially if something is gurgling a bit...

Nicholas

Yeah, considering how much the sea costs, that's really cool.

Brent5588

the logic is ironclad, there's nothing to say

Cassandra7840

It feels like the freshwater forum has become boring, and the critics have moved to the marine one. As I understand it: if you criticize the aquarium format, show your masterpiece in that format first, and then you can complain. There are so many theorists around...

Destiny

Well, enough with the sulking. Sailors are not delicate dandelions, and if someone doesn't understand the designs and only thinks about their own tastes, then have some compassion for those people. I believe the author knows what they are doing, and they will succeed. Whether it's small or large is already a matter of finances and space. Some mistakes will be addressed, or everything will be left as it is. And there's no need to offend or bully anyone here.

Allison

No one is being oppressed, everyone has expressed their opinion, and 95% based on experience say... In fact, it will be clear when the aquarium is set up and the shelves are occupied with something (even if it's not the sea, which is unfortunate). However, as experience shows, those who buy a small aquarium soon have plenty of thoughts about getting a bigger one.
