Right now it looks something like this.
Brianna
The fact that the anemone has crawled up and is sitting at the top is not good. Let's hope there won't be any trouble. What is the temperature in the aquarium right now? We are talking about the dangers of the Kyzovki, but it's much worse when the anemone dies. There have been cases recently.
Stuart
She is no longer sitting at the top; she has already gone to a nice person. Before that, she was crawling around the aquarium, nibbled on a few corals, and sat on the glass for quite a while; she likes it there. She got into the stream twice, but it had no consequences for her, and the other inhabitants were not affected. The water is murky, and the foam maker was acting crazy.
Yesterday, I checked during the day, closer to the evening, and it was 31. This morning it was 29.5. The inhabitants feel fine, not great, but there are no significant deteriorations. I think the foam maker helps by saturating the water with oxygen, which is why there are no sharp declines. I'm waiting for the temperature to drop.
Amanda
Super! Very beautiful!
Jamie3553
31 is VERY much. Almost the limit. Set up fans to blow on the water!
Joseph1346
Yes, it was 32 and it was fine. The heat is gradually subsiding. Today in the afternoon it's 30.
Photo for today:
William1830
First of all, such a temperature increase, especially for a prolonged period, is fraught with consequences for the inhabitants of the aquarium and may not manifest immediately, but if problems arise with the aquarium, that's where you should start looking. However, it might also be fine.
Amber
Yes, it's hot... I found an old power supply from a computer and a cooler. Now it doesn't go above 28...
Jeremy
At 32-33 degrees, if the corals somehow survive the short-term stress, then the brine shrimp in the sand and some types of bacteria are already dying. It's true that everything looks fine at first glance, but in reality, you can end up with such a collapse that you'll immediately rush to buy an air conditioner, which, by the way, now costs as much as a couple of good premium corals. At such a temperature, the aquarium is already balancing on the edge...
John828
I panic at 29, and we have an extreme person.
George5104
And I have it at 28°C.
Keith7534
Come on, extreme guy, everything is fine. Today it's already 28 degrees, the heat is passing. A year ago, when the temperature in the aquarium was 32-33 for a week, I thought I needed to get an air conditioner, but everything turned out fine. In the dark zones of the DSB, there were no issues, and the inhabitants survived the temperature increase without consequences. This is to say that "the wolf is not as scary as he is painted."
Kenneth7331
I have a mini Nemo assembled in 2 hours on my lap))) although it's a pity too...
Anthony7814
I think you'll make it into the record book. 4x250W, 4x24W for a 90x90x60 aquarium. The corals will break through the ceiling. The process is underway... it will be ready soon.
Dana6523
Everything turned out quite well. I went away for painting...
John3187
A week ago, a new light fixture arrived from a, for which I give huge respect. 3 MH at 250W 12K Reeflux and 1 MH 250W Chinese 20K + 4 LL 24W from Fauna Marin Duo. What can I say, the light is just AMAZING. The temperature dropped by 2 degrees; I placed fans under the fixture, and they fit in quite nicely. The inexpensive Chinese bulb shines very well, I liked it. I gradually increased the light day, and the inhabitants reacted very positively. The SPS corals developed bright shades, and the aquarium looks light and nice.
Joshua3019
As I understood, the first two photos are with the old light, the rest are with the new one. However, there is a difference.
Matthew
There is definitely a difference, and it's for the better. In the center of the aquarium, where there is a lot of light, the corals have started to color interestingly. In the photo, there is a coral with green polyps and dark red tissue - the tissue and polyps have started to lighten. It feels like the dark color is "washing out," leaving only a light, delicate color.
P.S. Yes, the first ones were taken with the old light, I didn't change the settings on the camera, it's on automatic, but the photo doesn't convey all the changes with the light. There is much more light now, and the aquarium is so bright. My wife, however, says that everything looks too bright and it's unusual.
Lee425
And I won't be silent here either. Fedor, what about the ballasts?
David7773
I installed electromagnetic ballasts from VS, which I took from there. I really wanted electronic ones, but they are expensive.
Christopher7213
I would put one lamp at 20K. The Chinese one really shines at 14K (like the Coralview 14K), and I have it next to the BLV150 20K, and the color of the BLV is clearly bluer.

Do we clean the windows every day?
Jessica8898
Twice a week, the first time just with a magnet, and on weekends with a scraper, since the magnet doesn't reach everywhere.
Kimberly
I see that the frags are already growing.
Nicholas
Everything is growing slowly, some things better, some worse.
This little coral has grown from a small frag.

Fedor, aaaaaaaah
How is the girl????
Gabrielle5053
What kind of development is that?

The Pentax camera is visible in the reflection in the last photo. Everything is great, Dimon. Wishing success and prosperity to your little jar. I see you've added a second Hepatus and a butterfly. How do the Hepatuses get along with each other?
Gregory9432
Helmona was taken to fight against aiptasia, he managed well, good job (Helmon). And when he saw the hepatuses, damn, they were so cool, small, about 3 cm. And not expensive relatively. He took them. Planted them in the aquarium. The big hepatus tried to bully them, but as soon as he swims up to them, they quickly dart into the coral and they're gone.
Andrea6761
Who did you get Hepatusiks from and for how much? I've wanted one for a long time. I once got one (I didn't go myself, it was passed to me, and it already had a cloudy eye) and it ended up with an eye infection. It lived for 4 days and nothing helped; it ate well, but the infection really damaged its eye, and it probably didn't make it.
Barbara
You won't believe it, Igor has two Berens. He took them for 35 each, hoping at least one would survive. Both survived. One has noticeably grown.
Crystal4879
If you want to sell one, I'm always ready to buy it. I've wanted a Hepatus for a very long time.
Travis572
A little bit broke the fragikoffs.
Debbie3587
Hello! Is this by any chance for me?
Rachel9060
They are the ones
By the way, it has warmed up...
Kristen2246
Yura is in charge of the parade; as soon as he gives the signal, it will start right away.
Stephanie3084
Do you want to connect to the acropoles? Will the system handle it?
Aaron580
Got to the camera. A few photos.
David953
Beauty... Among all the cubes, I like the design of this one the most...
Jenny
Nooo... if you see it in person, you can be blown away by the beauty...
Deborah2682
It's true, I saw it live today, it's very hard to tear yourself away from this beauty.
James4342
Yes. There is a lot to see! A lot to learn. BEAUTY!!!
Sydney
very beautiful ...
Andrew7823
Beautiful!! Well done, keep it up!!!
Gene1948
Today I visited Dima's aquarium, a fantastic explosion of colors and shapes. The reef is stunning, the corals have grown huge and are thriving. The equipment is just what is needed, not what was crammed in. It's clear that the person has a talent for this. The "fazenda" is flourishing, there are a lot of frags. The reef needs either investment or dedication. By the way, the shape of the aquarium looks very beautiful.
Amber6362
I couldn't find the SAMPA diagram (+ photo above). Please post it if you still have it. Was the coal removed in favor of phytomaterials, or did I miss something? What is the device next to the foam, on the right?
Where is the CO2 cylinder located? How much water evaporated with the first light (per 1 MG)? What is the height of the stand?
Elizabeth1221
Dmitry, photos of the aquarium residents - bring them in!!!! The last ones are very outdated.
John
I'll get to the camera over the weekend and take some photos. I'm not the best photographer, so it's hard for me to capture images that look like the real thing.
Lindsey3628
Another aquarium deserving special attention, just in excellent condition. I think you'll soon be featured on the magazine page - Marine Aquarium of the Month - maybe even of the Year. I particularly liked the view of the sump, especially how the wires are neatly tied up - everything is very meticulous in a good way.
Beth3383
I have good news, a six-striped wrasse has been found. In December, I bought this fish and released it into the aquarium - the next day it was gone, so I thought it wasn't meant to be. But the other day I saw it swimming; it probably lived in the drain column for about 3 months and has now swum back into the aquarium. I wonder if there might be something else interesting living there? I should take a look.
Here are a few fresh photos:
Amber6362
Hooray, I finally posted new photos. Welcome back, wandering fish! The Montipora is growing beautifully, but in real life, it's much greener. It's a very beautiful aquarium.
Joshua448
Recently, I am thinking of getting a macro lens and trying to take some photos with it.
Jeffery
Recently, I was playing with a macro lens.
Matthew7977
Good day, I noticed that you have a spotlight in Samp. What is the wattage of the lamp? I bought a spotlight with a 200-watt lamp, and it heats up so much that you can boil water. What is the wattage of yours? Does it heat the water too much?
Christopher4125
In the SAMP, there is a modified construction spotlight with a 150W metal halide bulb. It heats up significantly; you can't hold your hand under it for long.
Ronald
Dim, I'm sorry for interrupting your topic: Naka, what is this 200W bulb?
Bonnie
Yes, I bought a regular 200w halogen floodlight and the bulb at the same time))) Now I'm thinking about where to use it, maybe I'll put it outside)))
Karen81
Yes, definitely not for an aquarium. I buy such floodlights for construction sites in winter so that the workers can warm up and see what to do. The efficiency is very low (it's basically an incandescent bulb).
Kenneth7210
Spotlights, spotlights
And I bought a "handful" of hermits here, small ones, but many.
Zoe7451
They don't act up? I had one that constantly climbed onto the sarcophagus and sat on it, so the sarcophagus would close... that happens too))))
Carrie1606
Last night, I just launched them in the frag tank. They haven't been noticed for the memory yet, but they showed a serious interest in the growth. For now, I'll keep observing, but the first impressions are positive.
Ashley5975
What breed is this? And how many is that? A dozen?
Jessica8898
They are probably mixed breed since no passport was given for them. If anyone recognizes them, I would appreciate a description of the species. "A handful" means 20 pieces, but they are very small, in a small bag, just slightly at the bottom. Now I'm thinking, should I get some more?
Jason9952
you might want to hold off on the purchase, otherwise I remember the Yeralash sketch "is this the little hamster you sold us"
Laura7633
I took 5 of these in my resan. They are hard workers, but you need a lot of them... I think 10-20 pieces for 100 liters. They are really small... That's a big plus! They don't turn everything upside down. Did the hermits come from Tkach's ray?
Rick
Yes, at Tkach. You won't believe the price, and they even sent it. I'm in shock! As for the quantity, let them live for a while, clean up, and then I'll make conclusions. It's not a problem to take them, but if a herd of hermits starts running around the aquarium...
Tiffany5069
A good resource with pictures. Check out your "animals" here.
Ashley5975
I also got it from him. I know the price.
Larry9400
And what is the price that everyone is so happy about? Maybe you could announce it, but if it's a big secret, you can write it to me in private.
Andrea6761
small - $0.5
large - $2.0
Tracy
This is Clibanarius sp., related to our Black Sea Clibanarius erythropus. The origin is most likely the Mediterranean. Hence the ridiculous price.
Nicole263
What are their preferences? I also bought a cup. (like sunflower seeds)
Tracey
Mine have been with me for about a month... They eat seaweed and dig in the sand.
Julia
Do snails not get pried out of their shells? Do they not ask to come ashore on wires?
Troy8808
In one corner along the silicone seam, a bunch of 5-6 pieces are poking out of the water, but not far.
Mitchell7972
Well! They are reeeally small. They attack my strombus in a gang and clean its shell. They won't be able to physically pull anyone out.
Danielle
If you set a goal, it's just a matter of time. You can throw in a couple of empty shells for growth. Then they will pay less attention to the snails. The snails are more of an interest as living space than as a food source.
Joseph8842
There are plans for some rearrangement in the aquarium. First steps:
Jessica5016
What did they use to glue the stones? It turned out beautifully!
Lindsay
I'm concerned about your "hand play."
Although... it looks cool.
Who did you get the stone from?
Tanner
From one not very successful aquarium
Added after 1 minute
White cement + coral sand.
Emma
I like it, it turned out cool, I need to build one for myself with S.R.K. (dry reef rocks). Sincerely.
Frederick
It turned out really beautiful. I imagined them overgrown. But where are you going to put them?
Courtney4094
In the aquarium, they are already standing.
Christopher3770
It looks like a bird.
Wendy8540
However, today I will be gluing stones to decorate the drain column. The landscape in the aquarium looks like after a bombing.
Katie4842
What's wrong, little one? Were you sick as a child?
Jill9137
Nope, just hatched from the egg. Not even fledged yet. It will be an eagle's nest.
Cheryl
"Eagle, you are Sokolov, Eagle!!!"
Michelle
Went to glue the stones.
Steven757
Well, come on. Don't be shy with the photos. By the way, do you still need hermits?
Cindy
This balcony has seen it all!
Zoe7451
When will we see these wonderful structures in the aquarium? It must be beautiful!
We also had "crafty hands" over the weekend. It's not an easy task, I must say!
Joseph2576
At the moment, I'm arranging the corals on the rocks, although it looked nice even without them. And this process is soooo long. By the time I set everything up, my sun will approve...
John3187
So what? Where are the photos? )))
Rebecca1419
Night photo of the aquarium. Crayfish on a walk before bedtime.
Michael826
A few more photos.
P.S. Not everything is done as I wanted, but still...
P.P.S. The fish really liked it  there is more space for swimming, and now they are all visible.
Daniel132
Coolness at its peak!
Sherri1320
Everything turned out great. The design is just awesome. I want one for myself, but I can't seem to gather my thoughts; I'm afraid to make changes.
P.S. I'll send the promised flags in a few days, sorry for the delay.
Earl
Hi! Great design... I'm planning to gather my thoughts, dismantle my aquarium, and start everything anew...
Christopher1774
It turned out beautifully, but where did the old J.K. (living stones) go?
Ricardo7341
Why sell? I didn't sell. I sold part of the live corals and live rocks. The rest is in the sump. I glued the columns, placed them in the aquarium, and secured the corals on them. There were practically no losses.
Added after 5 minutes
Yeah, the eyes are afraid, but the hands are doing it. I've been thinking about this design since autumn, but I was scared to break everything. I practically had a system restart.
Come on, come on. There's a reserved space for them.
Added after 8 minutes
One column is made of live rocks, plus there's a bunch of rubble in the sump, about 15-25 kg. And I "scored" 60 kg of live rocks.
Elizabeth1221
Well done, you broke away from the template, and you did it well!
Amanda
once again: Unimaginable beauty!!!
but only these black turbines spoil the perfect picture...
Antonio
The design is great, you are the best, just don't put anything on the sand, and you'll be cooler than that Thai guy.
Kristin
Well, man!!! )))
Amy5468
I'm still thinking about how to fit the wave box in there. However, I have an idea to create something like hanging rocks.
Jade
Non-photosynthetic organisms. "Gorgonia, Sea Fan" and "Dendronephthya, Snowy Carnation"
Attempt No. 3
Anna9752
Come on, try it. Describe what you're doing - it's interesting.
P.S. I feel like trying number 3 is better without SPS.
Lisa
Some rearrangements in the aquarium. Two viewing glasses have been cut. The bottom and the stiffeners have been reinforced. A new grid on the drain column. New decorations made of white cement and Deep Coral sand. This week I plan to glue the glasses. Then it will be time for the sump - I want to redesign the compartments.
Barbara
Hi. In the photo where the pipes are close up (the third one), it seems that the nut on the nearest pipe has cracked. Is that not the case?
Matthew7977
Ryuha, I have a weak heart, I might not be able to handle it. Don't scare me like that, be gentler, be gentler. This is just silicone snot.
Danielle
Well, great. Better to be overly cautious than not enough... Pour it in. Let's see how it is in the water.
Ashley5975
It's very unusual, but what do you plan to keep, not photosynthetic organisms or have you changed your mind?
Darrell7542
Non-photosynthetic organisms will definitely be included, but a bit later, when the biology in the aquarium gets established. For now, I plan to start with some soft corals, then SPS corals, and after that, the non-photosynthetic ones. I might even set up another aquarium for them. Right now, I'm trying to figure out the filtration systems. I won't be adding live rock to the main aquarium, so the load on the sump will be significant. I'm considering how to best organize it.
Courtney
Aren't you planning to catch any fish?
Andrew4194
There will definitely be some fish, but probably not many. I will definitely have needles; I want some skates. A small group of some small fish, probably cardinal tetras. My antias have grown large, and I don't like chromis. I don't plan to have surgeons since they grow quickly and it will be cramped for them. Although... For the livestock, the plans are still general. First of all, I was thinking about the design of the aquarium itself; now I'm considering the layout of the sump, and then, calmly, I will gradually figure out what will swim and grow.
Rodney7316
It looks like the nature of the Moon. Or maybe you won't pour anything there, and that's cool too; you could just hang a couple of magnetic fish on a string.
Wendy8540
Nope, it will be in the next aquarium.
Frederick
And why the upper ribs, were there any bends?
Allison
Interesting idea, go ahead and launch it, I really want to see it in person.
Andrew9581
There was no sagging, as the ribs were initially in place. But when the seam came apart, and it came apart from the top, Volodya from Aquatica advised that the ribs should overlap rather than be joined edge to edge. So that's how I glued them.
Brandy1134
We were glad to meet you. I just got acquainted with your artworks - well done! I really liked the latest idea!!
James8887
I like it myself. The main thing is not to mess it up further. So far, this is just the beginning.
Amanda5586
Test water filling. The aquarium seems not to be leaking. (knock on wood three times)
Anthony4281
An interesting idea. I think it will look good with corals.
Vanessa6144
What kind of lamp will you use to illuminate the algae tank? A simple halogen, or that modified spotlight?
Stacy6866
The photo shows a spotlight. A regular halogen one, 1000W. It has been modified for a 150W metal halide bulb. It fits in there without altering the fixture's body, and the reflector is large, providing good illumination for the algae tank.
Michele
For today, I think of placing soft corals like clavularia (still under consideration) and Papua corallimorphs on the side walls. For the entrances, I plan to use euphyllia and SPS frags. At the bottom, I think of placing zoanthids. When a small frag grows, it forms a beautiful bush, while it's not always possible to place a large one where you want right away.
Jeffrey
If it's not too much trouble - what are the dimensions of the modified spotlight PLS? Length and width?
Thank you, I found it already.
Robert800
Yes, you are not afraid of difficulties! You create them for yourself. I am looking forward to the continuation of the topic.
Rachael
I was browsing the internet and saw these corals, and I compared them with the future system - it might be of interest. The design seems to fit.
Lee425
Yeah, but, namesake, those are not corals at all. The first is the jellyfish Cassiopeia andromeda, the second is a sea lily, an echinoderm, which really, no, VERY poorly withstands transportation. And it doesn't live long in an aquarium either. And only at night.
Travis572
Off-topic, well, I rushed... wrote the wrong thing... but still beautiful.
Karen81
Offtopic Beautiful - that's for sure, especially in motion! The floating lily is truly an otherworldly sight...
Natasha
There was a green lily - it died after 5 months.
Brandon9634
Offtopic
5 months of joy... That means something too. Not just 2 days, especially with the super salt from the Italian manufacturer "Prodac," with a sediment of 10mm per 50 liters of water... That was some salt! There are no analogs! By the way, maybe someone has kept sea feathers - those creatures are also fantastic. However, nothing worked out, a month or two, and... bless you, Ivan Petrov... Even though the salt seemed edible - Sera.
Tara2761
Off-topic. But in six months, a normal DSB will appear.
Tolya, you need to think positively!
James1625
Offtopic I have been refueling my DSB since 1995... Sometimes I even remember where it was sitting, and then it "migrated" to DSB...
Bethany
Something in the topic consists of general conversations, but there are no photos or descriptions of the growth and development of the "girl." Has the process really not progressed after 2 months since the initial water filling?
Crystal
Off-topic She is no longer a girl.
Julie
Offtopic:
Well, this is not the one that freezes in winter and then gets stuck in ice. Everything is still ahead...
Gregory
Currently, there isn't much to photograph. In the algae tank, there are a couple of frags of coral, and their condition is decent. I thought about buying a couple of kilos of live rock, but I keep thinking, "What if I try to start without live rock?"
Natalie
Innovative aspirations - a green light!
Courtney
I agree... Then Malevich's square is crap... how can one depict something like that, and what did the author want to show...???
A person is trying something unusual. And for you, I see, it's easier to live within certain "frames"....
Jacob4800
Please behave properly.
Rodney7316
When will the continuation be?
Jacob4800
We are looking forward to the continuation.
Rachel
It's not the time for the aquarium right now. It's sitting there, bubbling. Waiting for someone to get to it.
