Hello! A giant has also grown, the web touches the watered area and they close for a day. I turned the stone so that the web wouldn't touch anything downstream. On reefcentral, they recommend sealing the hole with coral glue... Like this?

Mark9853

Hello! Yes, yes... exactly like that)) It grows very quickly!!!! And it already has a support group starting to form!!! I will try to cover it up!! Thank you)

Rachel9060

I also have some like that))) I like them, I feed them sometimes)))

How do your corals react to their webs? Do they not reproduce? Do they grow quickly?

Rachel

These mollusks usually come in two types: one has a shell thickness of about half a centimeter and can produce a web up to half a meter long, while the second has a tube that is one to two millimeters wide and produces a much shorter slime. Consequently, there are fewer problems with the second type. The shells are twisted at the bottom, hiding in the farthest twists—there's no point in breaking the top... If it's not possible to place them so that the slime doesn't reach the corals, they need to be eliminated... especially if they are growing on coral colonies... there are also no options in that case.

More food means faster growth, sitting hungry the Moon can definitely... Larger ones don't reproduce much... small ones do quickly. Corals don't like slime. Zoas are nervous...

Thank you. Try to seal it first (maybe it will work).

It's impossible to keep them hungry. They even catch the tiniest food scraps in their web. I remove the web, but it reappears in half an hour.

These zoas... that are near the worm... arrived at the J.K. (live rocks) and survived salting, cycling, etc. They really don't like its webs. However, the euphyllia doesn't pay any attention to it.

I'm doing fine, it seems. At least the Parazoanthus (which are the most affected by the webs) are dividing quite well.
