Ksyusha loves nitrates! Without them, it's not cool for her.
Joshua448
Then there is an option with a separate aquarium for it! Without a skimmer and sump, and also throw some dirt in there))))))))) Mmmmmm-u-hahahahahahaa evil genius))
Joshua8425
not a 100% fact
We have 5-15 nitrates in 58 liters, in 500 - 5.
In the small one, it dies off, in the large one - it thrives.

Does it need a certain range of nitrates?

Try adding activated charcoal to the system... in my aquarium, after this procedure, Ksyusha fluffed up like never before, as it is known that organic compounds accumulate in the water that cannot be removed by a foam remover... and they may be the reason for Ksyusha's "wilt."

Ksenia, on the contrary, does not like coal, although everyone has their own case.
Lisa
Well, I really read that Ksyusha can't stand coal... We also need to set up an aquarium... for Ksyusha's sake)))
Justin
discard prejudices as you rightly noted, everyone has their own case... I shared my positive experience. and those stories about Ksyusha's dislike for coal are most likely related to the use of low-quality coal. Good luck

Check the ammonia. I had 4-5 bushes collapse when the ammonia was high while the nitrates were normal. Ksenia stops pulsing, droops, and gets covered in slime. As a result, I discovered it in time, added Stop Amo, and saved one bush from the entire colony. You can really see in the dynamics how Ksenia improves as the ammonia decreases.

I restarted the aquarium for a while! Made a nano tank! 30*30*30 cm. Naturally, only carbon for filtration! Ksyusha is living her life (knock on wood).

They say that Ksyukha is dying because of the coal. I had some that multiplied, then I added coal and they started to die. Now I've removed the coal and I'm waiting.
