And here it is.
Natasha
I just caught an ophiuroid, but it has stripes that are red and burgundy. In the photo, the tentacles are visible in the center; when it came out, one of the tentacles was twice as long as the others. What kind of animal is this?
Jill1815
Doesn't anyone know what this star is????
Andrew9246
Your Starfish is a very ordinary Asterina. Some claim that it is completely harmless, but there is also a camp of opponents to their keeping. Some aquarists provide factual evidence of Asterinas attacking corals and feeding on them.
Catherine
Today she will spend the night in the toilet.
Cheryl9296
How I love our people!!! Ready to dump on their neighbor's head. And like in that joke - ...it's not so bad that my cow died, it's good that my neighbor's two died, right Takedau??!!! I gave the person a choice, and you all start putting people down. Well, what is there to be surprised about, I'm already used to it in this country.
Christopher
Are you also looking for something that doesn't exist? Where is the disrespect? - and towards whom specifically?
David4968
I am not looking, I saw.
Jason
Personally, my asterinas have destroyed about five colonies of zoanthids. Even a thread with photos was created. P.S. Takedau, you started your aquarium on June 12, 2013, and with your very little experience in marine aquariums, you don't even give advice but mock those who know from their own experience that asterinas are not always harmless...
Kristin
There is no talk of measuring with rulers. The point is that asteroids do more harm than good, and that is a fact! I don't care what kind it is; if they attack, then it's into the toilet.
John3335
The appearance is the same as in the first photo in this thread. link.
It's not about asterinas or asterina sp or Asterina burtoni binnen, but about disrespect. The only guru here is you... the rest are amateurs...
Laura3673
Can you tell me what kind of snail is completely black on top?
Alejandro
Stomatella? (if the shell is flat)
In general, it's quite difficult to identify gastropods "from below" - based on the sole.
Stephanie9175
Yes, the shell is flat and black, but is it harmless in the aquarium? Or is it better to remove it?
Rebecca1419
I looked at the photos on Google, and it's definitely her real Stomatel. Now I need to decide what to do with it.
Andrew7823
useful. no matter what they say. eats algae,
is very afraid of many corals (avoids)
is food for sheep and shrimp.
Brian7092
Nothing needs to be done with her. She is useful!
Allison
Then I had a new tenant from J.K. (living stones) arrive.
Jeffrey6189
And a little brake for future inhabitants. They multiplied very productively for me and became free food for fish and shrimp when "manna" from heaven doesn't fall.
Teresa
With the author's permission, I'll ask. I have a lot of these little stars, can anyone advise how to deal with them? I'm wondering why all my zoanthids have disappeared.
Robert5335
Use tweezers to reduce their population.
Brooke3987
Asterinas can damage zoanthids, that's a fact. When I had too many of them, I would collect them with tweezers and drop them into the sump; I felt sorry to flush them down the toilet.
Kimberly2102
New illegal immigrants from Dimon, some kind of shell, what do you say, is it good or should it go down the toilet????
Rebecca1419
There are also a couple of such beauties living here! As Takedau identified them: "Some kind of mollusk from the order of drillers. By secreting acid, it gradually burrows deeper into the stone, slowly entombing itself in it." I don't think they pose any danger to the aquarium and its inhabitants.
Debra
I have a sand drill that sometimes crawls.
Dennis
What is it with the black tentacles?
Mario
Here
Joshua
And here it is.
Michael5242
It stretched out.
Kevin
The one with black tentacles looks like an aiptasia. The mollusk in the photo is harmless.
Rita
Exactly an iPad, big and fat.
John5528
Max was right, it's Aiptasia. It stretched out because it's hungry)))))))))))))))
Stefanie9771
I have a treat for her, calcium hydroxide, it's very tasty, she should like it.
Sara
Tell me what this is.
Christopher8654
If it's a maniac and you're going to get rid of it, I'll take it.
Troy8808
I don't know what it is, I'm curious myself, it arrived along with the stone.
Derek7322
That's it!
Sherri1320
I think I will get rid of them, but I haven't decided yet how to remove them to give them to you. I read online that these pests are still resilient aphids, and it's difficult to get rid of them.
Sarah
This is MaYano.
Dana4701
I'll keep an eye on this nasty thing; if I decide to remove it, I'll let you know. The question is how to peel it off the stone while it's still alive.
Jennifer5371
Maybe I was stressed, the color can still change to something cooler!

Ryu, this might be some kind of Venus flytrap, not a drill like yours. A sitting filter.
