So maybe it’s just me or did I stretch my lips? What kind of miracle is growing?
Mitchell7972
These can be mosses that are not harmful to aquarium animals at all; on the contrary, they appear when everything is fine in the aquarium, so don't worry.
Tami
Mosses don't seem to glow green.
Richard
Can I see them in person? Are they in the aquarium at the store? Very interesting, maybe something from the zoo aquarium?
Mosses are usually very tiny, they don't contain fluorescent proteins in their mass, and mosses usually have a skeleton... but here they seem to be bare and large...
Can I come and take pictures of them - and look in my books? I want a frag.
Jessica9188
Hey, they are still small (1-2mm head, took the photo with Samsung S5). Come and take a photo with yours. Of course, bring a micro scalpel!
Natasha7622
Takedau, we did look at that green nasty thing in the store... Well, I can't make out anything yet (( and I can't reach it with a normal scraper from this distance to take a look (( )
But the fact that a skeleton is clearly visible - rounded "nests" divided into sectors from the center like a lemon slice - is undeniable.
As for what this thing is... It's not Porites - the shape is wrong, and the size is larger. Most likely, it's some kind of "covering" SPS that is spreading out. (If it weren't for the tight fit of the polyps, I would say it looks something like Cyphastrea, which wouldn't be bad.) Photos of the skeleton and this little green cutie are attached.

It looks like a dying goniopora, or on the contrary, a growing one - but that would be a miracle.
Anthony7814
The thing is that at first there was none of this, and now there are already four places, in one place 1cm x 0.8cm, the other "areas are more modest."
It's a terrible thing, these J.K. (living stones).
And in the scrubber, instead of filamentous algae, macroalgae started to grow, it looks just like seaweed; I haven't tasted it, but it looks... Off-topic.
Richard
This is not kelp. Off-topic, but who stops us from trying? We have vinegar and salt... shall we take the risk? By the way! I counted the septa of that little growing thing! There are eight of them... it raises questions!?? Did Max see it clearly? Although on the larger one, there are six...
Hiyashi wakame
The algae resemble omorpha Prolia or Ulva Lactuca / Ulva Rigida...
Check the pictures on the internet - could it be?
But then the question arises - where did they come from?
Scott8536
This is Green Seaweed (omorpha linza) - it looks the most similar. I'm going to eat now.

The gates closed after your feed and haven't opened for two days!
William5838
Did you dilute it? This is JBL coral fluid (broth). Ryuha shared it with me. (Skates, when I used it undiluted, my umbrellas closed for the day). In general, I read the manual online - it needs to be diluted.
Keith7534
Damn, my umbrellas from pure fluid only closed for a maximum of 15 minutes)) (they burst!)
And now I'm constantly feeding a bunch of creatures with diluted fluid, everything is fine! (umbrellas, ricordeas, clavularia, I'm triggering a feeding response in LPS - lobophilia, acan, caulastrea... Turbinaria REALLY likes it)) I also give it to alveopora, but its food preferences are still a mystery to me)
When I fed the wheel animal, I exceeded the dosage by dozens of times (a couple of drops of pure fluid per 1 liter of water), everything was fine, no outbreaks - nothing.
Michelle1662
Well, almost everything has opened up, except for the largest fragment. Maybe they really overindulged.

Hello! Please help me! I am starting a marine aquarium for the first time. I filled the aquarium with water and salted it, measured the salinity with a hydrometer, and the salt level is normal. After that, I added crushed coral and topped it with live crushed coral, and exactly two days later, a purple film appeared. There are no live rocks, and unfortunately, I haven't done any tests! Is this film dangerous for my future inhabitants? If so, how can I deal with it? Thank you in advance!
Catherine6534
Off-topic, you're really going for it!
Jessica8898
Well, it's better to wait for the next three months. ProdiBio will help. In general, it would be worth reading how to set up an aquarium in the Marine Aquariums section of the forum participants.
