Charles

Here is a good article. Summary - it needs to be fed, it's hard to find the right food. It should be very fine zooplankton. Definitely not artemia. DT's oyster eggs - I've come across this food several times. Since it is sold refrigerated. It cannot be stored without a refrigerator.

Emily3144

I have had it for about 1.5 months. I don't feed it. It looks great.

Rebecca

Yes, indeed, the gorgonian is a beautiful coral; there's no denying that.

Tricia7885

I tried three times, though in general systems, I didn't specifically adjust for it. Half a year - and it faded away...

David953

Yes, a month and a half is not a significant indicator; if it were a year under such conditions... then we could talk about something... basically, the same situation is with me, 1.5 months.

Brandi

I am six months old and "faded."

Michelle5859

what a pity what a pity

We have been living in one problematic facility for 3.5 years (water volume 2000 liters, lighting with metal halide and T5, we do not use any special fertilizers). Out of three, only one survives (the other two lasted for six months).

this mysterious coral Goniopora.....what can I say............

David4089

Haha, and your Igor (a kind soul) sold me a Goniopora in the first month of the launch as an undemanding little coral-weed, which greatly brightened my wait for the system to mature.

Michelle5859

Stas Alpin seems to live a long time.

I wonder, do zooxanthellae exist on the body of the coral gonioports? Is it a photosynthetic organism?

Andrea8397

Zooxanthellae are not present on the "body," but in the tissues of the coral, which in this case is the goniopora.

Courtney

And the boy realized that it was not a hedgehog at all... With all due respect, you have Alveopora. If I'm mistaken, please correct me.

Eric5208

Is there a difference in content requirements? Or is the capriciousness different?

Cheryl9296

Capriciousness varies. My alveopora lived long and happily (almost a year and a half) until it died one day (my fault).

Chris

Alveopora has 12 "fingers" in the polyp, while Goniopora has 24. That's all.

Kristin

It seems this is Alveopora with 12 "fingers" and not Goniopora with 24 fingers.

Odessa, 21 hours since I wrote the post with the incorrect name of the coral, could have been spent more usefully on the topic and writing something relevant. Moreover, the mistake in the name was corrected almost immediately. By the way, I also have Goniopora, and I don't see any difference in care. When there is a "problem" in the aquarium, both Alveopora and Goniopora react the same way. When everything is fine, both polyps extend to 4-5 cm.

Larry9400

What specific parameters does it respond to?

Gary6376

I lived without questions for 3 months, and now it's been closed for the second week. Dancing with a tambourine doesn't help...
