Hello Pavel! The pictures are a bit small, it's hard to see, but judging by this photo: This is a type of Halimeda, with small leaves and very tough leaves; it only stretches and the leaf doesn't develop, possibly due to a lack of some nutrients. If I'm right and this is a tough algae, then it definitely is, it requires a lot of calcium carbonate for normal development. You can separate it by simply detaching the bush from the colony and placing it in any convenient spot; to prevent it from being carried away by the current, you can weigh it down with a stone. It grows well and produces a new colony...

Yes, there is such a type of stone. Next to the regular halimeda, it struggles - it can't keep up. Most likely, it is a species of the same genus as halimeda, rather than a variety, because they grow in the same aquarium and do not transform into each other.

According to the description, it's exactly the same. But I didn't understand what to separate...

...a little mistake... I apologize, I didn't notice... The bush, of course... refers to a part of the algae bush, it can be separated anywhere, but it's better to do it right by the stone and transplant it to any place...
