More information is needed!
1. What is the volume of the aquarium?
2. When was it launched?
3. What kind of anemone is it? When and from whom was it purchased?
4. Why do you think it is dying? Please provide more details and photos!
Darlene4238
1. 100 liters
2. six months ago.
3. The person has a Quadricolor. When it was brought, it had long tentacles, but then it split into 2, and the tentacle is constantly like in the photo.
4. The person who sold it said that it should release tentacles, but mine doesn't do that.
I don't know.
Monica
When the anemone splits, it always stresses for a couple of days, but if it lasts longer, measures need to be taken. Not only does it not release its tentacles as you say, but other invertebrates are also feeling terrible in the aquarium, as you can see their condition. What water and salt are you using? Urgently test the aquarium water for NO3-nitrates, PO4-phosphates, Ca, and Mg. What is the pH in the aquarium?
Kathleen
Does your anemone eat? Sometimes its tentacles retract from hunger. Just don't feed it with store-bought shrimp, it's dangerous; it's better to use frozen food, like gammarus or artemia.

What about uncooked, like gray, frozen tiger shrimp? Or is there a risk of feeding fish and anemones antibiotics and other GMOs used in their breeding? I give my anemones, calustera, and ophiuroids uncooked, store-bought tiger shrimp. It seems to be fine. But I must admit, they prefer frozen mysis more.

I won't claim, but in my opinion, almost all shrimp from the supermarket is farmed in Thailand/Indonesia/China, in ponds, and considering the density of the species, I think they can't do without antibiotics, and there are also preservatives during packaging. I don't know about gray shrimp, but boiled (red) ones die off quite successfully from sea anemones.

In the last photo, the coral is covered at the back due to something that passed by. Everything is open now; I'll send a photo. Only the anemones have been like this for a month since the division. The parameters are as follows: salinity on the hydrometer is at the green mark, which is normal, pH 8, nitrates 15, phosphates 0, alkalinity 8, water is from osmosis (though not 0, but around 15), salt is Reef Crystals. I can't check ammonia and nitrites because I don't have tests. Here's a general photo. Oh, and calcium is 400.
Brianna
TDS - 15 is bad. What kind of setup is this? Where do you get the water? I have 8 on Kyiv water before the resin and 0 after.
Timothy
I also think this could be the reason. A person delivers it. I will probably switch to distilled water and set up reverse osmosis with resin like you have.
Elizabeth882
The parameters for the soft reef are acceptable, play with the flow, maybe make it weaker? How often do you do water changes? Also, take a look at the lighting.
Cassandra7840
The current has changed, let's see. Basically, they climb if they don't like the current. At first, they were climbing, now they are sitting. The light from the Resan is weak. The previous seller inexplicably installed three 5W LED lamps into the lid. Everything would be fine, but the 5000K temperature is concerning. I ordered 10000K from China, but it's still on the way.

And now they started to swim around the aquarium. Euphyllia appeared. Everything is fully open, all good. Only the anemones behave like that.
Ricardo7341
Hello, you didn't answer my question, is your anemone eating?
Debra
Well, sort of, but very poorly. Do you see the tentacles in the photo? They have nothing to grab with. Unless you forcefully put it in their mouth. Then it seems to close and swallow.

I mix the feed with water using osmosis, and it dissolves. I will suck the resulting solution with a pipette and a bulb. Then I will put it in the aquarium and spray it on the corals, right?
Joe
I dissolve the freeze-dried food in aquarium water; I think osmosis might irritate the animal. I don't think it matters which pipette to use for feeding; the idea is to get the food onto the disk closer to the mouth and to prevent it from being blown away by the current. Appetite comes with eating)) They will gain weight and then catch food on their own. Wishing good health to your animals.
