Wow, where did such a white-breasted one come from? It feels like when the surgeon was defecating, his waste was eaten by your fish. It looks like poisoning. Fish are caught not only with nets but also with cyanides. Nine years ago, when I just started, a lot of fish also died. They come with a thin back, live for about 7-10 days after delivery, and then it's all over, but I haven't encountered anything like yours (just assumptions).

My condolences... but there is no mention of quarantine or baths for preventive bathing, especially for such a fish that looks suspicious at first glance.

There was no time for quarantine; it was decided, albeit reluctantly, to launch it in a rush since this relative desperately needed it. The matters at hand today are not about those who have left, but about those who are still with us, and most importantly, to understand what this is and what to do with it.

Once, I brought a hapatus, and it was still cold. It was so stretched out; the owner didn't overfeed it. He was afraid of the corals, but in reality, he was starving it... So I put it straight into the reef, and the next day it was all in the crypt, but after a week, everything was fine, and when it came to food, it turned out to be the fastest of all. After a month, you wouldn't recognize it... I got a beautiful fish. It seemed to have an appetite - for two days, and that was it... Most likely, it had been conditioned, but this is the first time I've seen something like this - definitely some kind of infection, my condolences...
