In the first photo, the tissue is missing from the skeleton; observe that under the right conditions, it can cover up. Do corals release polyps? There are little worms living on the stylophora; I don't know their names, but they are very often present on corals purchased from suppliers. You can see them by the tube and two tentacles. Stylophora need strong current... not direct, but strong.

This acropora does not release polyps. Others do.
Parameters: CA 450, KH 7.0, MG 1515.
I am gradually reducing magnesium through water changes, there was a problem with the initial salt. It was at a level of 1700.

Look for polyps after turning off the light; if there are any, that's already good... In the new photo, the tissue has tightened a bit.
