You need to take a photo right away and send it to the sender - good packaging is their responsibility. In general, sending live animals with Nova Poshta is idiocy.

There is a chance. LPS (large-polyped corals) came from Indonesia in deflated bags. Most of them survived. There was even a topic about dry transportation of hard corals. Smell it - if there is no rotten smell - soak it in Lugol's solution, rinse well in a separate container (to wash away any dead tissue, if there is any) and place it in a current.

The mail has nothing to do with it. The zoanthids survived and are already blooming... We'll wait for the euphyllia to come back to life.
Thank you! Is it critical that there was no Lugol's solution - a bath of seawater and in the aquarium???

of course not involved. The sender did not provide packaging.

It's not too late. Check tomorrow - if it doesn't open up at least a little - you can invigorate with Lugol's solution (5 drops per liter and soak for 20 minutes).

Lugol's solution should preferably be aqueous, as the ratio is different; in extreme cases, glycerin-based will do. And don't forget the aeration.

New heads can even start to grow on the skeleton!!! Don't throw away the skeleton!!

How did the seller comment on the event?
Jessica9188
I see you are most concerned about how the seller will behave. I sold this coral, to be honest, I only read the topic this evening. From the buyer's side, there were no calls or complaints about the coral arriving in such a condition. If a person doesn't write, it means everything is fine. I think if he calls or writes, we can resolve this issue. Now I hope you feel better and won't worry. I think we can close the discussion on who sold it and how they will behave. Let's continue the topic of how to protect and what to do with euphyllia.

Yes, you can call it that. In such a situation, an inexperienced person should be advised on how to act. After all, 10 years of purchases, including from other cities, have taught me something. I would also advise you to be more careful in your statements, as there was no negativity on my part.

Everything is fine! I always buy corals from you, and we won't take this case into account. Yes, mistakes happen, but I hope the coral will recover... I didn't have time to call - I've been busy with work... online from my phone... I come home and go to sleep))
Right now, the coral is in the aquarium - some kind of fabric-like substance is "coming out" from two heads (not decay)... We're waiting!

I want to note that Oleg is one of the most tolerant sellers on the forum; you can always resolve everything with him without a scandal and get more than you expect. Besides that, I think the buyer should really call Oleg and get a consultation.
