Maybe it's just shedding?
Patrick4439
no idea, I haven't seen how they molt, but it seems like they aren't shedding anything yet.
And how long do they molt?
Sherri1320
The water parameters are normal, don't worry, it will open. This is a usual process; perhaps the coral has gone into molting, as has already been correctly noted here. This happens to them quite often. Maybe the current has changed? It will get used to it.

How long do they shed? I mean, is 4 days normal for a start? I just don't notice him shedding anything at all ) Or am I misunderstanding this process?

Everything will be fine with the sarcos, this happens (I have plenty of them in different sizes). They can stay in this state for 4-5 days if they are molting, shedding their skin. If they are changing the water, they will adapt in a few days. Off-topic: Yes, check for any damage on the leg or under the cap; if there is any, clean it with a brush and treat it with Lugol's solution, and let it sit in the current to be aerated.

Thank you, marine aquarium enthusiasts! The tension has eased, I will be watching the molting. In principle, he moved from another aquarium, so he must have been changing the water in any case, and it seems he has started doing that.
