Where did you get the fish?

Is there anyone in Kharkiv who is involved in the treatment of marine animals?
Jeremy3637
At Marchenko!

Fishing and healing. There are similar themes. The ailments are different, but the problems are the same; take a look, maybe the topic will suggest something. This topic is for more experienced and risk-taking sailors.

Is a 20-liter aquarium not too small for a quarantine tank? I'm also interested in what medications to use; if possible, please provide links on where to get them.
Caroline1599
Is there a place to get a goby (smaller than a shrimp)?
You won't have time to treat it by tomorrow anyway - there won't be any "spots" left on it. But you need to be ready for another outbreak in 5-7 days, and possibly not just Helmann's.
P.S. If the fish is lethargic, catching it and transferring it to a quarantine tank might finish it off.

I wouldn't touch it—it's lymphocystis (LYMPHOCYCTIS) and it should pass on its own. The main thing is the water quality, and it's good if it eats something to boost its immunity. I wouldn't put it in a quarantine tank; it would just cause more stress and poor conditions. My fish had the same issue, but it started eating artemia well, and it seems to be getting better.

I have and have been feeding well. Both frozen bloodworms and brine shrimp.

Regarding the quarantine tank, I think I'll set it up today anyway. I bought a 30L aquarium and a sponge filter for up to 75L. I have a water pump; is there anything else I need?
Christopher4108
In my personal opinion, a quarantine tank for a Helmon 30L is very small (treatment may take a long time). And in general, what are you planning to treat? Have you determined the diagnosis?
Kimberly3727
not yet!
Kenneth7210
I'll check if you have all the diseases that fish have, is it limphocystis?
Kimberly
I also think that my helmon has something else!
Laura7633
There will be hints regarding the quarantine item!

Don't "stress" yourself - nothing is needed in the quarantine tank except for the pennywort! 99% is crypt. As long as the "grains" haven't disappeared, try to treat it, since you've decided to do so.
If you have large plastic pipes, put them in there. Do not place live rocks (J.K.) in the quarantine tank under any circumstances, you'll ruin them!!!!
Christopher
I sent you the link POST №6, now take each of my posts separately and pick what interests you specifically about quarantine and the treatment guide.

Will a regular daylight lamp be sufficient? As for treatment, today at the store they suggested Seachem MetroPlex, I took it and now I'm wondering if it will work. By the way, another question: for about a week now, the sand has been covered with green algae. What could that be?
Diana8604
I also got Helmons where you did, and mine lasted about two weeks before it died. It seems that the whole batch of Helmons was poisoned; the other fish I got there are doing great.
Jacqueline6670
Did it get covered too? I've had it for almost a month.

Morning photos!
The shedding has increased, the spots have become raised and in some places resemble cotton. By the way, here is a photo of the sand; when you try to remove the green, it comes off like a crust.
Wendy2244
First, it was covered in spots, and then the fins started to rot. Try soaking in fresh water.
Amber
I periodically noticed similar white spots with tail deterioration on Helmon's tail. It was resolved by changing 10% of the water every other day, and the blood-red tor contributed significantly to the healing process. Everything cleared up within a week.
Joseph6461
My spot is not only on the fin, it's also visible on the side in the photo.
Janet5447
Yarik is not a crypt, he also said so.
Mitchell3177
I really don't know what diagnosis to make; over the last two days, I've read so much online and looked at photos, and I'm leaning towards crypt.

How is Helman?
