It's unlikely that the fish died from a couple of days of starvation. It's even beneficial.

Cheryl

The dog died 100% from starvation; it hadn't eaten for a month, and it probably hadn't eaten anything before being bought either.

How many J.K. (living stones) are in the system? Like an angel?

Laura4892

Odessa, J.K. (live rocks) and S.R.K. (dry reef rocks) 45 kg, the angel is alive and well, has taken its place in the aquarium, even stopped terrorizing the invertebrates.

No, fish in the sea do not die from diseases. There are predatory fish assigned to them for that purpose. As soon as any fish weakens and starts to move slower, it immediately becomes lunch. Wolves are the sanitarians of the forest, while predatory fish are the sanitarians of the sea.

Well, how do you envision treating 6 fish separately? It requires many small quarantine tanks or one the size of the main aquarium. This is not an option; it's easier to improve the conditions, and the fish will strengthen itself and cope with the infection. I don't think there's anything foolish about that.

If you want to get treated right in the reef, please provide your phone number.

Do as you wish and whatever you want, but then don't create threads saying "help, save me." I've said my piece, and I won't create such threads because I rely on my personal experience and the experience of seasoned sailors who have many years behind them, not just three months. Everyone has their own methods of treatment; I have mine, personally tested on my own fish. It's not worth trying to convince me otherwise. So in this thread, either share advice from your personal experience on how you treated your fish, or just pass by without throwing around words and cluttering the topic as is usually done.

I asked if you think there is a connection between the fish being covered and what was happening in the system. If there wasn't, I would have to figure out what the problem was, in other words, solve the issue. But now, it's obvious that there was a connection since everything has returned to normal, even my poor enctomma quadricolor has emerged, which, if you remember, I mentioned had lost all its tentacles. Again, my mistake, I didn't read enough, didn't learn enough, lacked experience, but still, nature found a way. Thanks for the advice, I would be glad to apply it, but there is no opportunity to do so.
