Maybe she doesn't like the place. Did she used to open up before?

Joseph2576

Everything was fine, she has been living with me for a year now. I tried changing her place, but it doesn't help.

Michael826

Don't disturb her... the condition should normalize on its own, there are no visible signs of necrosis or damage... the coral just deflated for a while, mine does that occasionally too, but not for long.

Okay. Thank you. We'll wait and see how it behaves.

What is euphoria?

Megan

It's bad. It looks the same. I just noticed that her mouth is often wide open, about 5-6 mm. Also, there was a white thread coming from her mouth, which can be seen in the photo. However, it's not there now. I don't know what to do with her. (((((

What do you have with the parameters, have you conducted tests? How do you change the water? Are you using MЭ? Regarding the threads from the gastric cavity, it should be assumed that something or someone is clearly suppressing it. Perhaps there is not enough lighting. What if you try to move it to a more open space? I don't see anyone nearby who would be dangerous for it, but still... If that doesn't help, then something is wrong with the water. It's very difficult to determine the cause without seeing the aquarium, equipment, etc. in person.

Can I have a close-up photo so that it's clear what corals are nearby? I think someone is actually stressing it out (is Ksyusha nearby?).

Destiny

Of course, I can send a photo. As for Ksyusha, you are right, I have a lot of her, and she is multiplying very quickly. She takes up about half of the aquarium.

According to the tests, I can say right away that I have very few: pH, Ca, and KH. So, the pH is a bit low, below 8 (I added buffer). Ca is normal. KH is very difficult to determine; I can't give a definite answer on it. Water change is 15% once every two weeks. What is ME? Recently, I bought dry reef rocks (10 kg) at the Aquarium Center; 2 rocks weighing 1 kg each were placed in the aquarium. I didn't treat them, just rinsed them with seawater and put them in the aquarium. Could they have caused such a result?

Antonio

You have a beautiful reef, but this euphyllia is in a not very convenient place for it, as it is being hindered there. I would place it in the saddle, under the overhangs. As for the two 1kg dry reef rocks installed in the row, that's not very good, although what else can be done if it's necessary... It's true that they could definitely have affected the water quality, so I wouldn't recommend adding more dry reef rocks for now. Let the organic matter provided by these 2kg of reef be processed. M.E. refers to microelements. The glass rose should also be suppressed, as it can affect sensitive invertebrates, but for now, there isn't much of it yet.

This is not good. Pay attention to this indicator. Maybe the salt can be changed or... Of course it can, but I don't think so. Unless they were very dirty. The best treatment for S.R.K. (dry reef rocks) is to wash them well. You can do it under high pressure. P.S. Ksenia can press, try to change the coal there or make a small replacement.
