Julie

It's a pity, the fish((we didn't keep an eye on it...(( With proper care, they can live for about 10 years.

I've been in the game for 11 years now, so it depends on what kind of clown it is.

Selena4467

It's tough. How can I give you advice when it's unclear what the volume is, what kind of sand and stones are in it, what water you're using, how and what you're feeding, what kind of salt, what kind of foam, and finally, what kind of lighting you have? I checked your profile, and the information is scarce; there are only two photos, one of the stone and one of the lid. Was there nothing else to take a picture of?

Jeffrey6189

Yes, the description needs to be corrected. The volume is 75 liters, the filter is a canister AQUA ONE CF 700 (700 l/h), the skimmer is a RED SEA PRIZM, the lamps are AQUA ONE 2x11 watts, and the food is AQUARIAN ADVANCED NUTRITION, for marine fish. I buy ready-made water, they make it from salt D & D H2Ocean Pro+ Natural Reef Fine Salt, and the sand is coral rubble 2-5 mm. I just forgot to mention that a day before, my compressor stopped working, and they were without air for about 15 hours.

Cheyenne2747

Today the second fish is sleeping all day. It’s probably bored. How long should the quarantine last? Or can I buy another one already?

Andrew4194

If the aerator was working, then the fish definitely didn't die because of that.

Vanessa6144

Why do you need a compressor if you have a skimmer? You have to prepare the water yourself!

Karen81

The pen is always working, but it hardly produces any bubbles; there are a few small ones, but not many. I still tend to think that the fish has swallowed some poison.

Steven

Maybe your aerator is just not working? The aerator should produce a lot of bubbles while in operation.

Melissa3820

I agree—it's unclear what kind of aquarium this is: some kind of boulder, plastic items, and a house that resembles anything but a marine aquarium. It's no wonder the ocellaris have perished.

Brian7092

Off-topic I found out, it's SpongeBob and Patrick from the cartoon)

the hostess remains silent. Apparently, there are better specialists there than us, so...

Antonio

P.S. There are worms living in the little houses, which a big worm drove out of the stone. If they are removed, what should be done with the "homeless"? Decorations for the aquarium, but it wasn't written for which sea or tropical ones. So I just stuffed them in.

Nicole7122

a 75-liter aquarium with a canister filter (a surprise) from which you can expect anything. I would still advise you to remove it, and if this is an aquarium for a child, you could consider an internal filter in the aquarium and a small skimmer; that would be enough for a couple of fish, and there’s no need for corals. The store should know what kind of filter this is and how to install it. The death of the fish and the spike in nitrates were likely caused by the prolonged stoppage of the surprise filter.

Darrell7542

Study at least the first few pages of this - and the guarantee of a successful home for your Nemo will be higher than with GosStrakh.

Danielle8118

It's not clear about the filter, i.e. are you suggesting to replace this with a simple internal one, like this ()?

Ryan1989

Well, you see, there is a little bit of everything there. But I was told that under no circumstances can I have either mushrooms or anemones. I would gladly plant them there instead of the houses, but it’s not allowed, so it’s not allowed. So I stuffed "decorations" in. The water is always fine, everything is okay. Now I’m thinking I’ll solve the problem with the filter and replace the houses with anemones. What do you think?

Daniel

The tests are at home; I took them to the store to make sure everything is fine once again. Just in case I was doing something wrong. But everything was the same. The water is almost always at the same level, with only minor deviations, but all within the norm. I still lean towards the filter. It has been glitching a bit, but that only happened during the usual startup. However, since the current in England is not constant, I think there was likely a surge, and because of that, the compressor failed, and as someone said (I really liked it), the Kinder Surprise glitched.

Karen

As for the stone, I don't really know either. I bought the aquarium along with it, and they said it was live rock, but it doesn't really look like that (I had my suspicions). Only worms and little starfish live in it and under it. There are also 2 small ones with a purple coating; one has a tiny mushroom growing on it, but it's very small (1cm x 1cm).

Breanna9982

As I think and did a year and a half ago, I gave you the link. Do as it says there, and that's it. I have nothing more to add. If you do it differently, then it will turn out differently; there's no guarantee it will be good.

Jennifer7578

You can use the one in your link. In the photo, it is the second one.

John

Thank you. Will filtering with just the sponge be enough?

Katie5500

it will be a bit too little

Scott8536

There shouldn't be just a sponge there.

Adam

If you have time, I would be very interested to read more about this in a separate topic. Especially about the use of the specific medications, dosages, etc. Thank you in advance! P.S. In Germany, the Combi San & Coral San set, 2x 500ml, costs 35 Euros...

Laura3673

What should be there at all? Technologies are advancing. As far as I remember, about 10 years ago, there was only a sponge in such filters. It was enough for cichlids, but it was a bit lacking for goldfish. However, they are the biggest "pigs."
