It's fine. Just be careful with the feeding. I have a 50L tank, but it already has a foam filter. And I have a similar one, gross 10L. Photo taken 2 minutes ago. Throw in a couple of small snails to clean up after the clown and you.

I'm really worried about feeding - the Ocellaris isn't eating, and I'm giving it food to check - maybe it will take it... And the snails - I'm still not at the stage where I can use snails for treatment - I only have 5 large strombus snails, one unidentified no-name, and that's it...

I think I'll also get myself an aquarium up to 20 liters as a quarantine tank... Now I understand that it would be good to quarantine the corals to check their professional suitability, but there's nowhere to do it... there's a risk of them dying... Moreover, I have a small pump and a hanging mini filter... I just need to figure something out with the lighting, because for the fish, a desk lamp would be fine, but if I'm quarantining corals, I'm afraid they might suffer even more from lack of light.

Sanya, light it up (the hanging filter), maybe I'll find a similar one. What's the point of the light there??? Even 20 liters - a 40-watt bulb will give you 2 watts per liter - that's just awesome.

the most primitive Chinese Ataman HF 0100 filter, something like that, cost about 90... I bought it in Kyiv, thought I would hang it on the aquarium for carbon and anti-phosphate, but it didn't work out, and now I'm thinking it might be okay... as for the light, regular lamps won't provide the right spectrum, right? Otherwise, I could just attach a 15-watt energy-saving bulb, but it would shine like a regular 40...

The savings account will give you that spectrum - you are planning to treat, not to "multiply" a bunch of people sitting on simple savings accounts in nano - they are getting rich and buying fancy things.

The issue of lighting is resolved for me. There are savings accounts in Germany for every taste (there are no others). P.S. What types are being bought? By the way, if all the savings accounts are provided, then why aren't they installed in aquariums? A good reflector, and everything is great! Especially if the depth is up to 40 cm.

Darlene4238

Why aren't they used??? They are! It's just that there are better ones designed for aquariums. I had simple T8s in my fry tank and everything was great, then I bought Aqua-Glo and it was also awesome. And we're actually talking about a hospital/quarantine tank; an economical option will provide enough light, it will be sufficient - treat them and back to the main tank.

I might go to the store tomorrow and buy a jar... I just happen to have an extra live rock, and I have plenty of heteromorphs and caulerpa... plus some small snails... I have dry substrate... a pump, a filter... I can set up any light, and damn it, I'll have another mini tank that will serve as a transfer station for corals and frags... I can attach them to the rock, quarantine them if they raise suspicions, etc... Phew))) stay tuned for the new topic "mini sea quarantine"
