I have a green algae fish living in a transit aquarium.

Bohnenka, so tell me what’s going on???
Joshua448
Bohnenka, are you indifferent to corals??? Can't you feed him with frozen food? Do you give him finely chopped and freshly frozen sprat? And also, what volume does this beauty need?
Joshua9340
He is in a seaweed tank, there are no corals, except for the Black Sea anemone, although I think he is indifferent. Why, I feed him more with frozen food, giving whole small sprats. Guppies are now just for variety. I will also try giving shrimp. The volume of this aquarium is about 150 liters and it is 3/4 filled with caulerpa, but overall the system is around 600. The volume itself is not important to him, they move little; a friend of mine had them sitting in a breeding box in an aquarium, well, I don't know, it looked like 5-10 liters, as long as the overall system coped.

Bohnenka, I had an idea to put a 20-liter jar on my desk, create some kind of display, with 1-2 unusual fish, and assemble an ice lamp. So I'm looking for something unusual and rare, but that doesn't require much space... and is quite low-maintenance.

I also found an old photo.

Bohnenka, for now, these are all my thoughts... I just want something unusual... So I'm in search of it...
And you can hang a skimmer for 20-30 liters... These are still just thoughts...
By the way, for those interested in seeing supplier prices + how much delivery costs with all taxes (though only to Germany)
I've been looking at price lists for an hour and drooling over otos for 20 cents... White-breasted ones for 10 dollars... Helmonas for 3 greens... And so on...
Debra
I really like this red one.

I'll tell you, guys: it's incredibly cool to keep Black Sea flounders in a marine tropical aquarium. They easily tolerate a salinity of 35. They're also quite nice. They lived with me for a year, but unfortunately, I don't have any photos. If I get the chance, I'll definitely get them again. I've made up my mind for sure.
Marie5348
Yeah, I’m really into it myself. I would get one like that... It can be in a riff, but I’m afraid it won’t be comfortable for him there... Or?
Lynn4242
Are there no photos online? Or a name to search for...
Julie3950
He will feel very comfortable with that, but for other fish or shrimp, it won't be as good. I don't give such large food, but I have read that they can swallow prey almost their own size. Another acquaintance once told me that he foolishly fed a large loach, the anglerfish ate it, but then it ended up getting stuck.

He is certainly beautiful. And he doesn't eat corals. But he only looks lazily sedentary. I saw a movie about him, where a fisherman rushed over the rocks on his duck feet, and I didn't immediately realize it was a fish. I also read that they can migrate. They sit in one place and then move about 200 meters.
It's interesting to look at him, but it feels a bit sad to keep him in an aquarium.
I suppose seahorses are very charming, but they require constant attention, feeding, and they can get sick...
You already have a Spiny Pufferfish - a real attraction.
Cheyenne2747
Hmm... it's worth thinking about... Since he loves shrimp (I love them too) and small fish (I love them too)... I'm afraid we just have different kinds of love... I need to dig up some information about him online...
Elizabeth
The spiny puffer, of course, but he sometimes chases the white-breasted one, which causes the latter to be stressed and occasionally get covered in spots... Right now, he's been spotty for the second day... Although the UV is working non-stop, and the food is very diverse and plentiful...
As for the skates, I just can't manage it, and I don't want to... But the anglerfish... Well, let it migrate between aquariums.
I don't know... for now, these are just thoughts... I'm looking for something rare but available in Germany and suitable for a general aquarium... But no matter how much I search, it's all the same... I'm quite upset...

Could you tell me where I can buy a fishing rod?
Patrick4439
There is only black. That's how it is on the forum.
Travis572
not an ordinary fish, but where the eyes I can't understand
Wendy8540
There is also the Fish with Red Lips, or in English, Rosy-Lipped Batfish. There is a wonderful video on YouTube. It is also an anglerfish.
