Could you please share a photo of your aquarium at its current stage? It would make things clearer.

Kevin262

Off-topic. This is not really related, but it's from questions like: "How many people can live in a 1-, 2-, 3-, or 4-room apartment?" It all depends on individual circumstances and the filtration system, as well as the frequency and amount of water being replaced. As for the living creatures, we observe how comfortably they feel.

Alexander

Here’s the photo. The hapatus and apogons are sitting in their burrows, while the clowns, lacking an anemone, are in the brown xenia. But the question is not about my aquarium in particular, but "in general." What are your thoughts on fish density, experience, etc.?

Eric8832

Yes, you are doing fine. And don't try to make it even better; the best is the enemy of the good. Moreover, how long have the fish been present in this quantity?

Lee425

Often, everything is individual. The recipe is something that someone will say. There is no dogma - see above. Add one at a time - fortunately, the zebra will help. If there is a slight failure, you will have to stop with the addition.

Christopher1252

No hard feelings. It is possible to keep... Filtration, substitutions... But is it necessary? Visually, the fish are very large for this aquarium.

Ronald

Thank you for your opinion, but the aquarium was set up for fish. I understand that the fish are too large for 250 liters, which is why I started this topic. Here is a photo of all the inhabitants, except for the mandarin fish (it appears like a bright sun a couple of times a day, closer to the evening).

Patricia1746

If we're being straightforward, it seems there are no questions about your aquarium. As for me, it's dark, but that might be due to the camera in your hands... it shook. Judging by the fish, I wouldn't worry too much - I would add 3 medium-sized ones without hesitation. P.S. Please write to me in private about how, where, etc. - regarding your fat Helman. Where you bought it, how you set it up, and any other details.

Chris

Aqua was launched at the end of December 2009, and the fish community formed in mid-March. The newcomer, the wrasse, appeared a couple of weeks ago (I wanted to get one much earlier, but it just didn't work out), and the helman has been here for a week. Response for A: I got the helman already well-fed on bloodworms and apteronotus, which will last him a long time in my aquarium.

Ryan

I shot in a dark room with full lighting in the aquarium. That's why there's such contrast.

Darrell5975

How does the heniochus behave - does it not nip at corals?

Gary6376

Not anymore. He was very aggressive when he first arrived (in March). He came to me from another tank due to bad behavior. There were expensive corals in that tank that he liked; the owner sold the troublemaker to me for a low price. He nipped to death a palytoxin, hunted down feather worms, and then started to eat Artemia twice a day until he calmed down. He even stopped bothering the worms. But then a helminth appeared. I gave away one worm, and the other one attached to a rock and stayed... He lived for 5 days. The worm is gone now...

Elizabeth1221

Helmon is closely associated with worms. My fish sometimes finds small polychaetes in the sand and quickly deals with them. Some people advise giving tubifex to helmons periodically, but I do not support this idea. It can harm the fish. Also, one needs to be very careful with liman bloodworms. You have to know how to choose them at the market. But even seemingly good bloodworms can cause problems. Once, a bicolor centropyge was fed "good" bloodworms. A perfectly healthy and active fish died instantly. So...

Off-topic Nothing, he'll get used to it and take it... where else can he go...

Steven757

It is indeed dark. It's clearer from a stranger's perspective. It turned out that it was time to change the lamps long ago... I had been looking closely and didn't notice that twilight had set in. I ordered on AiRife. I'm waiting...

Joshua8425

What are the dimensions of the aquarium?

William1830

960 x 552 x 665 mm Total volume - 250 liters, visible - 210 liters.

Collin

Here is the population density:

Judy

And here, a diver is placed, and there is enough space for everyone.

Jennifer7578

Maybe I'm being slow, but it adds up to almost 350 liters...

Brianna

These are the dimensions of the aquarium with a lid.

John3187

Offtopic and a tumbler

Rebecca1419

20,000 gallons - 75,500 liters. That's the math.

Patrick4439

Just a little more... We're talking about the volume of your water based on your dimensions.

Kathryn514

Offtopic You are burning

Carrie1606

I was most surprised. I measured the visible volume of water again. It turned out to be 950x500x440. In total, 209 liters.

Jesse

It is like that. And the comment about this was: </param> </param> </param> </embed>

Leah

Can you provide more details about the "hardware," what skimmer and what light?

Joseph9057

Clearly, it's not worth adding fish.

Jason9385

Good evening, I would diversify the light to 15000K and add something pink, I also rinsed the sponges more often, twice a week, and for the same reason (the sponges), I still occasionally used charcoal.

Danny

The light above the water is no higher than 7 cm (aquarium with a lid). I plan to get white lights at 12,000 Kelvin (ATI). I think 15 watts is a bit much considering the low position of the light. I also considered pink, but since it only affects color perception and not coral development, I opted for three actinic lights instead of two actinic plus pink.

Chelsea

Sorry for the off-topic question. Are you satisfied with the skimmer?

Christopher

No. But something else won't fit there.

Julie3950

The worm is alive Changed its feeding schedule, now it feeds at night. That's the news...

Caleb6320

Helmon would quickly clean the stone.

Selena4467

Max, he's such a handsome guy, that little stone... However...

Jennifer7578

what's wrong?
