The Sea Mouse Fish Callionymus pusillus inhabits sandy shallows, a very amusing little fish. During the time I kept Black Sea fish and animals, I never managed to catch it. Here is some information:

Thank you very much, ray. Very similar. And apparently, it's a female, as it hasn't changed its gray-brown color. Perhaps I caught it easily because it is not yet fully grown: I just dove in and grabbed it by hand on the sandy bottom at a depth of about 5 meters.

You haven't seen how beautiful the males are - with blue stripes and an orange tail!

And who are they? They were caught in Crimea, don't ask how!)))
No fish were harmed and they were sent back to the sea.

In the first photo, the Black Sea scorpionfish (Scorpaena porcus). In the second photo, the Stargazer (Uranoscopus scaber).

This is a scorpionfish, the sea scorpion (Scorpaena porcus). I brought it home from Tarkhankut in August; it hid for a month and didn't eat for 10 days, but now it's almost tame, greedy, and loves to burrow into the sand.

I have a big scorpionfish that I caught in the summer, it's a decent size. If anyone needs it, message me privately.

Why ask? For a Chinese disposable net. The starry sky, also known as the sea cow, is hard to catch otherwise. Everyone who comes to the sea considers it their "duty" to bring a couple of nets with them. Who knows, soon there might not be any greenery left.
