There is an Eheim 1250 and 1248, maybe you need them.

There is a pump, Italy, Newjet with a capacity of 1700 l/h, quiet, with a margin for your volume, check it out in my topic.

Amy

Thank you, but I would like to hear opinions on which pump operates quietly and lasts a long time. I had a new Newjet 2200 - I returned it to the store right away because it was noisy. I also wanted to ask if there are pumps with water level regulation in the aquarium and overflow shaft to reduce noise - can you recommend any that work well? Are they quiet? And if so, which brand is better to buy?

Amanda

I had pumps, aquamedic OR 2500 (currently installed), newjet, eheim 3000+, Hydor Seltz l30, all worked quietly. I placed foam under all the pumps or suspended them in the water column; the vibration of any pump will transmit to the glass. What is this pump with water regulation in the shaft?

Judy

The pump is hanging for me too, plus it's in a foam cover - it can't touch the glass, but it hums... As for adjustable pumps, I've only heard about them, but I don't know how they work or where to find them.

So, more specifically, can no one say which pumps are better?

Tara2761

You want a silent pump! But unfortunately, there are none! Cover the cabinet with sound insulation for cars as much as possible, and you will be happy! As for the water level in the sump, you need to adjust it with the valve that you have on the drain, not the pump. Good luck!

Eheim is definitely better than Chinese brands, but it's more expensive. People often ask what is better, meaning cheaper. The Eheim 1250 pump for 1200 liters costs me 1850 (new). By the way, you can install a rotor with a ceramic bearing, which significantly increases its lifespan.

Aaron580

So, does this pump also need (or can it be) upgraded? And what bearings are originally installed?

Ricardo7341

Eheim has about a dozen modifications of one pump: - pressure pumps - for external filters - for internal filters - there are even ones for computers with electronic control and the rotors can be different (they also vary in price)

Tracy

Damn... I'm looking through these pumps and I can't see any with electronic control...

My Jebao pumps have failed... I am currently looking for replacements. I am not considering those that operate on AC from 220 volts, as they are noisier than DC 12 or 24-volt pumps. However, there is a very limited selection of branded low-voltage DC pumps. So far, I have only found "Aqua Medic." Maybe someone can suggest other good quality low-voltage DC pumps? I need one for about 2000 l/h (for the skimmer) and another for return to the display up to 3000 l/h.

Breanna9982

It may happen that I will have to choose one of these pumps to replace my pumps - I'm looking at these two options - and They are more powerful than I need, but they can be adjusted to a lower power. I wouldn't even consider Jebao, but I don't have many options. What do you recommend?
