John

I haven't encountered it, but it's an interesting idea overall, though there are many questions.

Erin

I have no questions Either because I still know little, or because a person with a rhyme center has skilled hands. Even a dry stump will bloom in the autumn.

The production of any ceramics involves processing at temperatures ranging from 1700 to 2200 °C. Any combination of clay, kaolin, and possibly filling with sea stone in the form of powder or sand. However, such temperatures kill all living things, so it is incorrect to call it BIO-ceramics. As for making ceramic decorations, there are specialists in Kyiv as well. Inquire about it.

These are not just ceramic decorations. As I understand it, bioceramics are called that not because they are alive, but because a porous structure is achieved during production, which allows these ceramics to be colonized by bacteria over time. It turns out to be something like dry reef rocks, but without organic material and already in the desired shape. I have only seen on the same reef central that there were batches that emitted a lot of phosphate. The French company Aquaroche was the first to start doing this.

Igor, the same attitude as towards other bioceramics. Sera siporax, JBL Micromec, and others.

Denise

Here is the answer to the question for those who don't have it. Off-topic. All this reef base made of bioceramics, especially if it's made like a rubber doll... However, if we could get a bioceramic product made not in a makeshift way, it would be interesting to try it.

I have long had my eye on such a thing. But I must say, it's not cheap. For those interested, here is the email where you can communicate with the manufacturer. And here is the link to their topic and prices. And nothing there is faulty. They provide a warranty.

The topic was opened specifically to link to the topic: We waited!!! Now they are making wonderful products for marine aquariums!
