There are questions about the Venturi. I tried different options and got different results, but I would like to know the parameters of the factory foamers. I am interested in the ratio of the inlet and outlet diameters.

Hello! The inner diameter of the venturi can be made from 16 to 18 mm.

Thank you once again. I made a venturi with an internal diameter of 18. The foam is excellent - thick, with small bubbles. The venturi pulls just like a vacuum pump.

Recently, I checked the skimmer, and it was pushing water over the top. I decided to do some maintenance and cleaning. This is the first cleaning (before that, I only washed the cup). Despite more than six months of continuous operation, everything inside is clean.
However, when I disassembled the pump, I saw the reason for the skimmer's inadequate behavior. The snails were having a carousel.
Forum members, please share advice on how to better protect the pump from snails getting inside?
Maybe I need to change the design of the needle wheel somehow? Or a filter at the inlet? But which one so that it doesn't affect the skimmer's performance?
