Thank you, I read this article and used the spectrogram of the lamp mentioned in that article as a basis for building the spectrogram of my lamp, while enhancing the light in the ultraviolet spectrum in order to achieve fluorescence (that's how the word is spelled). For reference, to obtain the spectrogram, I was working on a foreign website; I will find the link and share it.
Paul
I would clarify that UV420 is more related to violet than to ultraviolet.

Perverts, I take warm at around 3500-4000K and cold at 6500-8000K, and everything grows great. If you want high-tech, add deep red and violet, but why create such a traffic light? Well, if the gentleman has time and inspiration, then of course it can be done.

P.S. I have repeatedly observed that if the light flux is strong enough, the spectrum takes a back seat.

Well, if you kindly provide the percentages for each channel, you will be able to determine the number of LEDs for your aquarium. I would also add that if you install lenses, you can reduce the number of LEDs by about 30%, and in my experience, with lenses, the glass hardly gets overgrown, and the light penetrates to the bottom.

Well, I just showed my version, it doesn't need to be copied. And it's probably true about the lenses, light doesn't hit the glass, so there are no growths. By the way, Rey already has diodes with a built-in lens, there's no need to install optics additionally.

What is growing well for you? Please be more specific.
Erica
what does this have to do with a marine aquarium???
Tammy
I will repeat for the nth time, in the two large aquariums we only use 4 types of LEDs: White, Royal, Blue, and 390 nm. I see no point in installing "extra" diodes.

Such a number of colored diodes is necessary (taken from reading foreign forums) to ensure the synthesis of the chromoprotein chlorophyll A and chlorophyll B, which are said to be essential for the life of the aquarium.

Gentlemen, sorry, I was reading on my phone and didn't notice that it was about the sea; in this case, I pass and agree that two whites are not enough.

Read about our successful sailors instead. Here it is.
