Could you tell me if the aquarium has already been lit? Is there a "disco"?
Zoe7451
I would like a detailed description of the stars and what kind of LEDs there are, what drivers, how many, power supply, etc. And, most importantly, a photo of the aquarium showing how the reef looks.
Kevin
There are no stars, there are assemblies standing.
Description of assemblies.
Drivers... you can basically use MeanWell, or the original RLL.
The number of drivers depends on the number of assemblies, their type, and the power supply voltage (optimal is 48 volts). Specifically, this fixture has 12 drivers (6 driver assemblies).
Calculator for calculations.
The reef... the reef looks like mine.
In a month, such light will be with Max (Alchevsk), with Sasha (there's an overall SUPER fixture - 3 beams with 8 assemblies each, total power 864 watts).

Regarding the aquarium - I'm not a marine specialist, I made a custom one measuring 1700x400, the client is very satisfied, removed three metal halides and hung a beam, says the light is great, no disco effect. Everything was done using ReefLab assemblies as Sergey from StarComputer mentioned, optics were installed on the assemblies.

P.S. I have 10 x 58 W T8 fluorescent lights hanging above my workbench - when I turned them off and switched on the beam, I realized that I didn't have light, but twilight.

To those who are afraid of overheating.
I will also connect with the builders, 2 beams of 1.8m. But the electronics are different, MeanWell drivers and a controller from Sergey. I'm just not in a hurry to assemble the light fixture since I don't have the aquarium yet. Some of the tools are still on the way. And there is quite a bit of fuss with the profiles.
