Check HERE, it might be suitable.

Good afternoon, 1. I support the idea of three compartments; it's more than enough. I have a similar aquarium, and from my experience, I can say that the partition between the sump and the display needs to be sealed with something; frosted or black glass is not suitable. I have significant issues with this in my aquarium. One option is to use film through double glass... I haven't solved this problem in my setup yet. 2. If I were you, I would first decide on the protein skimmer and then create compartments based on its dimensions... 3. The aquarium seems a bit too tall for me; you can't do without LEDs. 4. Make it with a sump...

1. Why doesn't black work??? 2. The foam might be Vitalik's. 3. I've decided on the size 70 x 60, but I'm not sure about the height, 50 or???, the sample is 15 cm, 3 compartments, dimensions after buying the foam...

check out my topic, there might be something useful... think about a separate samp otherwise, you'll get disappointed very quickly... I'm already redoing it for myself, I didn't listen to the smart GURUs back then, and I'm going to sell my aquarium as a set...

Hello. An absolutely identical aquarium, slightly smaller in size, was glued together. The small volume of the sump does not fulfill its intended role. Its maintenance is extremely inconvenient. The aesthetic appearance of the aquarium is compromised. I can list many more issues. If you're interested, take a look at my thread.

I looked, read, and decided to make an aquarium with an external sump. The aquarium is 50x50x50, with a Durso overflow and a standpipe through the bottom. I have a question about the placement of the pipes... should all 3 be in the standpipe or should I bring the return from the opposite side? For such a tank, should I make a stand with a metal frame? Maybe someone has such a tank, please share your experience. The sump is something like this.

I have a similar aquarium of 400 liters, but the filter is on the side instead of the back. If everything is done properly, it’s convenient and works just as well as a sump, and most importantly, safety is ensured; all the water is in one volume, so safety is maintained. Now, about some other advantages: the pumps don’t have to lift water 1.5 meters, which means they operate at full capacity, and a moisture-resistant cabinet is not needed, which I think is the biggest benefit. Also, my partition is double, made of two sixes glued with black silicone, and it turned out to be opaque.

Congratulations, the right decision! I think all three will be in the mine, then you can do the wiring in the cabinet however you like. Since you are suggesting the wiring, it's not suitable for such an aquarium. Why a metal frame? Well, of course, if you want everything to be super and the budget and time allow for it - yes, but otherwise, you can make a regular one from moisture-resistant chipboard, or in the worst case, double walls from 16-18mm chipboard. My 45-55-40 stands on double walls without a solid back, so far everything is fine, knock on wood...

What's wrong??? Durso, insurance, and refund...

Not everything is correct, my comment was about the wiring with the opposite side, do it like in the picture.

and the dimensions of the shaft ???
